A great attitude, but is a tough grader. Homework varies from crossword type worksheets to videos you have to answer questions about. I recommend being in at least asl 3 before having for Fingerspelling.

Jami is nice but hard. There is a HUGE difference between ASL 1 and ASL 2. She does not take the time to make sure her students know the material before moving on. She takes her time to reply to emails. Exams are hard and fast paced, but she always give extra credit questions.

I took Jamie for Fingerspelling. Challenging course, but great teacher. I felt like I learned a lot and deserved the grade I received. Expect to put in a lot of work. You get what you give in this class. Honestly though Jamie is an amazing teacher so take her if you get a the chance. She will help you get the grade you need.

I have really enjoyed Jami's class this semester. She makes class fun and has fun ways of getting us to work on vocab. There is a lot of lab work but if you do what she suggests, it won't be hard. Definitely works with you! I'm definitely going to take her for ASL 3.

Wow, had her for three enormously intense classes this summer as part of the first cohort for the interpreting major at Tulsa Community College. ICBEL, MCE in the Ed Setting, and Artistic Interpreting. Yeah it was crazy intense but she made it awesome; I can't imagine surviving with any other teacher.

I freaking love JAMI! She is the coolest teacher ever had. SIGN LANGUAGE IS not easy, you have to put in work outside of class, but if you do THE CLASS IS A PIECE OF CAKE...I WOULD TAKE HER FOR ASL 3, BUT ITS RECOMMENDED THAT WE HAVE DIFFERENT TEACHERS To experience the different ways that people sign...YOU WILL HATE YOURSELF IF YOU DON'T TAKE HER.

Mrs. Jami Hollingsworth is a wonderful teacher and I learn alot from her class. You wouldn't believe how flexible and helpful she can be if you need more time on the assignments. She is always available between classes and during her office hours. I reccommend her to anyone who is interested in taking ASL II.

She is a really nice lady but TOTALLY caters to the interpreting majors. I am a straight A student (Chemistry major) and received a B in that class! There were quite a few interp. majors that couldn't sign well and tested not too great that got A's!
