I took Human Diversity scheduled w/ a different professor. They pulled a fast one on us, and canceled the class last minute. Dr. Hardesty took over, and I think we got off easy because of the switch, but I learned a lot. It was online, participation and weekly attendance was mandatory. It wasn't too hard, she graded VERY generously. Good class.

I took the online class thinking that the professor would be communicative and helpful but was proven wrong by Hardesty. She didn't reply to some emails and wasn't very nice. The quizzes are fine as long as you read but the papers are time consuming and confusing. I wouldn't take it again if I had the choice.

This is the third online class that I have taken with Dr. Hardesty. It was in pre-session so it was a fast pace and a lot of work, but I learned a lot from her as always. She is a great professor and is always very helpful. I will gladly take another class with her. Those that don't like her are lazy.

HBSE2: VERY strict on her attendance policy. However, highly intelligent and has a lot of great things to offer. Her class is not hard at all. I learned a lot. Stay on her good side and dont show up late for a class otherwise you are considered absent. tests are a breeze. One final paper, that is a killer and long. She does not give you much time.

Had her on-line. The class is a lot to keep up with because it's childish and a quiz with readings and lectures and discussion boards to do every week. Class is a joke. Didn't learn one thing and wasted too much time on the computer doing the class.

Took her class online during the summer. It was a lot to keep up with because of the short format, but the class was enjoyable. Quizzes were not too hard and we wrote a paper. Her communication was just fine (contrary to what others say). Great professor! Take her if you want to actually learn something.

I had her online crime, justice, and society class and i found it very hard. The tests are very hard. I also found her to be kind of rude and unhelpful. When asked questions she replied rudely on more then one occasion that we should already know the answer or did not respond to email at all.

i had her before for an online class, and her online classes are simple if you follow the course outline. The class was made a lot harder than it should have been. The test questions are confusing and designed for you to get a bad grade. Really study in-depth and for days and know your stuff before any test, so you will be able to get a (C).

Dr. Hardesty does disagree with opinions that differ from hers. Grades consist of two midterms (a final that's like a midterm) and two papers. You hardly ever have to go to class because she doesn't take attendence and doesn't go over what will be on the exam. Class got boring towards the end.

Dr. Hardesty can pass the class time well. Her tests are okay, sometimes hard. She is very nice to talk to outside of class and she makes the classroom environment comfortable for students. One of the better professors.
