Romal gets a really bad rep. She is very funny and intelligent but she needs to retire. She constantly makes mistakes in her work and then the whole class gets confused. She sometimes grades wrong and you get marked off even if your answer is right. HW every week but not a lot. 3 tests and a final with quizzes every week. Only professor available.

No theory or lecture, all in class problems. She is horrible with excel. Material on exams is covered directly in class and with the homework and quizzes; clear cut.

Pretty cool lady outside of the classroom. She makes constant mistakes on Excel so make sure to know your stuff. She asks for a volunteer to startup her computer before she gets there and gives them a 5% bonus on their final grade. Homework due every Monday, quiz on Fridays, 3 chapter tests and final. Pretty much tells you the answers to quiz/test

A lot of people dislike Romal, but honestly with her its about respect. If you're going to get sassy or argue with a professor, she is going to give it right back. I have succeeded in this class simply by taking notes, participating, and when she tells you what to study for the testquiz, study exactly that! She is very honest about the material.

She is a great teacher. Grades fairly hard. But she will bend over backwards to help you succeed. As long as you do the work youll be fine. the best part is she only teaches you what you NEED TO KNOW. Which is more than i can say for some.

She is a very nice woman, and is willing to help everyone. The only issue is that she tends to make mistakes when teaching/doing the practice problems that can really throw you off. If you are strong in accouting you will have no issues, but if accounting does not come naturally to you then you may have some difficulities.

She has a teaching style that fits me-> Quick PP, then spends the rest of class doing problems as a group that are similar to the exams. She drops a few HW and Quizes. My only problem with her is that the m/c section (20%) of tests aren't things you learn in class and the tests are entirely too long. Other than that, she's a good professor.

Pleasant individual. Atrocious teacher. Most professors try to enhance your learning experience. I can honestly say that this professor was the first one who literally hindered my ability to learn. I spent more time trying to determine what her expectations were as opposed to just doing the work. C'mon B-port. Poor show

At first I hated this class, mostly beacuse I did not learn anything in my first accounting class. I stuck with it and it's really not too bad. Romal has a weird teaching style but it works. Helps review for quiz's and Exams in class which is very helpful. Drops homework/quiz's to help your grade out. Final is 25% of your grade. Very good looking!

This lady doesn't know how to teach. She is not organized at all. I was so dissapointed with my final grade, the lowest grade I have ever received in my life, pls do not take any classes with her. She needs to retire. Worst teacher ever !

Would NOT recommend. Not engaging with students. Not very friendly. Often makes mistakes on tests where figures are missing or she'll do something careless like hand out the answer key with the test. Should retire in my opinion.

Romal is honestly one of the best professors at Brockport, especially for Accounting. I strongly suggest that everyone takes managerial accounting with her. I learned so much from Dr. Romal. If you are someone interested in accounting, she is definitely the person to get to know!

I love her as a person but I barely made it out of Cost accounting alive. Besides the fact that I hated the material what made it worse was that for example she gave us a practice test and for two of the problems the correct answers were not even there. Only thing I liked was that she tells you exactly what are on tests & gives you xtra credit.

I love Romal! Honestly one of the best business professors at Brockport! Took accounting another school but the profs didn't even compare to Romal! Love her jokes! She really wants everyone to participate and she tries so hard to get the students engaged. I LOVE ROMAL!

She is out there to say the least. Her class examples are inconsistent with her test, quizzes, and hw's. There are often mistakes when she covers examples in class. At the end of the semester she does everything to help you though. will average tests if it benefits you. drops quiz and hw grades. not a bad choice if you have to take the class
