Very specific about what he requires. Use of any form of electronic devices is prohibited. He will give you fair warning about violating the rules before he asks you to leave the classroom. One open book mid-term, one paper. Must conform. Go to the writing center and complete re-write you will receive credit. Show up and participate.

He's very clear with what he wants. One midterm (open book), one paper, occasional homework assignments and no final. Get an A on the first draft of the paper and you're basically done with the course. Gives multiple attempts to rewrite as well.

This professor is the worst! I got an A in the class and couldn't say more bad things about him. You could write his essay over and over and it will never "conform" to his requirements. He won't help you with anything, he'll just tell you to go to the writing center, and they'll tell you to go to the professor... --- continued

Weiser is a pretty eccentric professor. He basically rambles on all class about the same unappealing slides. He assigns homework regularly but they're pretty easy. He'll put you to sleep but hes an easy professor. One midterm, no final and a term paper. not bad! also permits cell phone use and tardiness!

I am taking his RE LAW class and so far so good. He teaches student to stay creative and capable to analyze legal documents. He is encouraging to think out of the box when reading an article in a newspaper. And his comparison of the legal language with the language in the XIXth century poems has been just outstanding. He makes your thoughts fly.

This guy loves the sound of his own voice. He never stops talking which is very annoying. This is suppose to be a law class but he wastes time talking about how to write and how to read which I would assume most ppl in class already know how to do. He's all over the place. avoid him!

This might have been the most frustrating graduate course I've ever taken. The problem is he's simultaneously trying to a) expunge the thousands of unrelated thoughts running through his head b) prove he's knowledgeable about NY (which he is) and c) prove he's up on his pop culture. The result? A total disappointment and waste of time.

Took this class as an elected law. HW is unclear of what he wants how he wants. 30 pages of irrelevant readings every day. Try hard to stay awake. He is very unclear. Needs to get organized.

His syllabus is an indication of just how damn confusing he can make the easiest thing. A ling to an article that doesn't correspond with the reading number or the article on e-reserve. Nice guy but he needs to organize his thoughts a bit better.

Do not take this guy if you are actually coming to learn real estate law. Took him in the fall & he covered 20% of real estate law which he zipped through; the rest was on Financial Meltdown that not even the experts understand. Hard grader on 5 minute speaks in front of the class, critiques you on the spot in front of everyone. AVOID!!

Class was well conducted during the semester..content was interesting only if you were interested in the law of real estate..he gave 2 midterms which were tests that im sure no one is used to taking...he should have given 4 or 5 tests so we got the hang of the format..last teacher to submit grades which is very annoying.

Save your money and time. Professor Weiser is the worst professor for real estate law. Many students have repeated his course. He does not hand in grades on time. Please do not waste your money on this professor.

Outstanding! It's an advanced course just for real estate majors, so EXPECT hard work. The requirements are clear, the text clear if you study, and if you can't handle the requirements or course load, you aren't ready for college and should practice your career saying "Do you want fries with that?"

There is so much material that is covered in class but there is much that could help you out for the midterms and final the topics are so general you dont really know how to study for exams, Oh and it will take a really long time for you to get the grades for your exams. Took one midterm and got the grade all the way during finals week.

This professor's teaching style is one of the worst that you will ever come by. He is so full of himself. If you are late often to classes don't take him, he starts taking attendance right away. Also expect to be in class for the whole class, he will never dismiss the class early. If finished a section and there is 5 more minutes left expect to do
