It was very interesting class. You will be expected to know algebra and calculus, and be comfortable applying those skills in this class. I am a math tutor and I worked very hard in this class. I highly recommend reading the book before class, so you have some understanding of a new big concept. Good luck future engineer! Nas

Mr. O'Connor is one of the best teachers that I was lucky to have. his cares a lot and tries his best to help you understand the subject. I enjoy his lectures and I hope every professor would teach like him. he spend all the lecture time to teach and he doesn't waste any of the time at all. He is the best.

Prof. O'Connor is a great Diff Eq and Lin Alg teacher, but a messy Phys teacher. 5/5 for Diff Eq. 2/5 for Phys. He tends to overcomplicate Phys when the solution is really simple. He simplifies math really well though. Take him for math, beware in Phys.

Not sure why his rating is terrible. I took his combined Linear Algebra and Differential Equations class, and it was incredibly easy. He gives a pop quiz before class over the section before, but they are not difficult. The homework assignments are super short too. He even gives you a sheet with the antiderivatives and LaPlace Transforms. Take him.

Mr, O'connor gives crystal clear explanation, he knows the material more than any professor i have taken, yes he is really hard on the exams but if you do all the home work assigned you will be alright. usually he gives quiz each other class and they're from what has been covered it makes it a lot easier if you do all the homework.

Civil Engineering: Truly a near-genius, you can learn a lot from him, but if you can't think like Einstein, you need to keep trying to reel him down to your level. In today's construction environment where "good enough" is no longer good enough, he pushes to develop your deep conceptualization ability. Truly rounds your academic preparation. GO.

Mr. O'Connor may not understand everything you ask, but he will try his best to help you understand. Understanding the homework is important for passing quizzes. Never miss a class because there is usually a quiz. Get familiar with the concepts and processes to pass exams. He is very generous with partial credit. Get help from his office and tutors

He's not bad if you're a type if student that learns from the textbook. I've been diligent in reading the chapters before the lecture but I relied on YouTube to help me pass. He almost never lectures in a way that you understand. No PowerPoint. Labs never match up to what your chapter is over. No study guides for tests. I advise you to avoid him.

This professor is a completely incompetent. He asks for answers on lab reports that are never givin to the students. The amount of time and effort put into the class is not worth it. I dont recommend this teacher to anyone...

He answers all your questions with a question. Labs that you work on in class stay away from asking questions. Never gets you anywhere just makes you go back.
