Comment:

Dr. Thomas is a great teacher. Overall his class is hard, and he does ask difficult questions on tests/quizzes but they are not impossible. He really shows interest in his class and loves teaching. He is very easy to talk to, and is willing to help students. You really have to read all the chapters he covers.

Comment:

Dr. Thomas is a super nice guy who really cares about the students and will try to help you out if you are struggling. The problem is he is TERRIBLE at teaching. His lectures are all over the place and confusing. His exam questions are usually VERY poorly written leaving most students guessing. On the positive side he is great in lab.

He reads off of powerpoints he hands out, but it doesn't matter because you can't hear him anyway. He's funny, but he rambles. He can be cranky.. most of the time. I stopped showing up to class and still got an A by studying the power points, so keep that in mind.

He was a very nice guy and cared a lot about his students. He is so smart that he would relay a lot of information that we didn't need to know for the test. His test were very hard and he gave you study guides but they were not very easy to follow. All around you have to spend a lot of time studying for this class.

Is Dr. Thomas the best at relaying the information you need to know? Not at all. However, he genuinely cares about his students and will do anything to help you understand what you're unsure of. Make sure to follow along in your textbook. Ask him for help as soon as you need it! He's awesome.

My favorite teacher I have had so far at Capital. He is a great guy and has a very interesting perspective on life. He made class fun to go to.... that's impressive. Having a beer with the guy is on my bucket list.

dr. thomas is a sweet, genuine teacher but doesn't know how to teach. he provides no notes to follow during lectures so one must take notes the entire time and exams are often surprising b/c he doesn't provide direction. he's knowledgeable but doesn't know how to convey it. oh.. and he makes obscene jokes which i think are inappropriate

Have to read the text! Dr. T is an awesome person. He cares about your learning and understanding. He is willing to help if you don't understand. The course is challenging, but if you put forth the work, you'll get a good grade. Fun, challenging class

Ok, basically you have to teach yourself in this class because he sure doesn't. We were learning cellular respiration and I might as well of stayed in bed. He just used some diagram at the whole time that was crazy and then at the end he said we needed to know like 3 things and it was a huge mess. AHHHH
