Although Joanne is a very nice person, loses control of the class often, and most class time is consumed by life stories. Grades according to minor punctuation & grammar errors, less focus on context of the answers. Not an English course. Her sub Judy Reisdorf makes you feel very uncomfortable. Learned nothing about Event Planning. Useless courses.

This isn't exactly the ideal class or teacher to get you started on your career as a travel agent, but you still learn a few things. There are 3 one page essays about your opinions from the book's content. You also have to present a trip to a place and tell of tourist attractions hotel airport and how much it costs.Dress nicely for the presentaion

She is such an awesome and helpful teacher. All of the work is EASY!! Each and every time I needed something she always helps and refers you to people and goes out of her way to support and help her students. She is very wise and encouraging and I would tell anyone to take her. She really benefited my life and I'd take her again in a heart beat!!

Joanne is awesome; the best I ever had. She works with you, and you can get A's in all her classes. Just show her you are willing to work. She changed my personality, and make you aware of the little things in life. She sets a high standard for the next Prof. Just love love her!!! Joanne is a very unorganized individual and could really use a full time personal assistant. None of her classes prepare her students to transfer to four year universities. The classes may be easy but you really do not learn anything in the long run.
