This class is all about his opinions. He often goes on rants about his beliefs and then goes completely off topic. He believes his opinions are right and that there is "no evidence to support" the other side. The class isn't difficult however and it isn't worth tons of points either. The concepts aren't hard and he gives reviews on eery lecture.

Attendance was optional but most quizzes (he gave "quizzes" not exams to limit test anxiety) were based on lectures. Answered any questions on review days the class before a quiz. Limited use of book and often argued what book was teaching. Leared a lot about how to manage a classroom with a sp ed student.

He is a very caring person. Super patient and understanding. Attendance is not mandatory. His teaching style is based on discussion; its not really a lecture though because sometimes you really cant put much of what he says into your notes. Though, what he talks about is valuable.

He is very knowledgable not only when it comes to special education topics, but about education in general. Tried his best to prepare us for the not so great things that one will experience. His class is on the easier side but there is a lot to learn. Attendance is not manditory but I highly reccomend it (exams are easier that way). Great prof.
