Lisa is an awesome professor! She seems very interested in the course and is extremely smart. This 3 crowns course isn't easy but it's worth it to work hard and you really learn a lot. She gives good feedback on all of the assignments and pushes the boundaries on how you think and perceive things.

Lisa is brilliant and you will learn so much with her - but you HAVE to work hard! Her courses can be challenging, and she can be intimidating. But she's nice at heart, and will try help you if you ask. I had my own confrontation with her, and it sucked, but overall she was still so nice and taught me so much I cant do anything but recommend her.

Lisa's feminist philosophy class was the 1st GWS class I took, which eventually led to my double major. She was challenging and had such an amazing ability to understand students and pose difficult topics from her expert perspective. I wish I could re-take now that I have more confidence and understanding. Amazing prof, brilliant woman.

Overall, she is an extremely smart professor. Her class is extremely challenging and if it's difficult for you to comprehend different forms of writing--this isn't for you. School and Society focused alot of Agriculture/Education. Required to volunteer. A 2-pg paper everyweek. She's very helpful, but papers are impossible.

Philosophy was not my thing, just needed the credit, but the feminist phi class changed the way I think about abstract things, gave me confidence in right-brained reasoning. Loved going to that class, was challenging but not intimidating- one of the best profs I ever had

Lisa is funny, you have to understand her sense of humor to know when she is making a joke -- sometimes she'll tell you too. She encourages her students, and as long as you put the effort and continuously seek help from Lisa, she will notice that and you will also notice your skills improving. AWESOME PROF!

One of the best professors on GAC campus. She really cares about what she is teaching and in turn inspires her students to really become involved in what they are learning. Some of the best discussions I've had at college have come out of this class.

Horribly rude and mean. Liked to tell you to come back later when you come to office hours. Ignored 90% of the class. Why does she teach when she hates people?
