Great professor! If you take advantage of his office hours, you will take more away from his class than you ever though possible. His grading is weighed heavily on the papers and exams, but if you study and read the books, they are a breeze. The best part is, you actually absorb the info. I find my jeopardy skills are way better because of him!

Best professor I ever had. He is challenging, but he'll answer every question, no matter how dumb it is. WARNING: POP QUIZES! The papers and exams are pretty difficult, but he makes learning about something boring (in my opinion) fun. We miss you Doc! Come back soon!

Very nice guy. To put it plain and simple you will not pass this course if you do not read the books!! 35% of your final grade is the Final and you're assigned 3 papers (one which is 20%) of your grade. So not much room to mess up. He assigns a quiz at least once every week. He is helpful but, too much of the grade weights on too few things.

Great teacher. Clear, understanding and actually cares about his students. And he really does hate NJ. His pop quizzes are no surprise, as he will tell you to expect one daily. Don't slack off and definately don't leave papers until the night before...he may crucify you. Oh, and cite EVERYTHING. If it has been said, quote it. Trust me.

Wow, I have never seen someone who hates New Jersey so much, so much anger for such a pathetic state. And who would have known Jesus had the first circle? But he is a good guy, very helpful, tough but the class is worth it. Take if you want to learn but don't mind putting in the extra effort.

Hard grader. Pop quizzes on readings will keep you on your toes. Word to the wise- do the readings. This class will kick your ass if you dont. Funny guy, understanding of problems and genuinely helpful and caring. Unlike a lot of teachers, he cares if you learn something.

Extremely interesting young professor of philosophy; the class can be pretty tough if you slack. He's a really fun teacher, and uses a lot of humor in his class.
