Comment:

Nice man, very easy A, but a horrible teacher. The reason it is so easy to get an A is because he makes the tests and quizzes stupidly easy. Doesn't take attendance so you can always skip and it's not like you're missing anything because he doesn't teach. class is just story time with grandma and him talking to himself while writing on the board.

He is a really nice guy, but gets off track very, very easily. Its good, but if you actually want to learn anything, take a different teacher. Take his class if you're lazy and want to go to 2 classes per semester. I did, and passed!

He does the problems on the board but does not explain how to do them. he talks about other unrelated topic. you can get away with cheating easily, just bring your laptop. he is always late to class. he is unorganized and does not know names or takes attendance. AVOID HIS CLASS! On cardinal station he will show up as "R. O'brien."

Worst professor I have ever had. DON'T take this class. He's horrible, has no idea who his students are and doesn't teach anything. I did not take one thing away from the class, other than it was the biggest waste of my time. I still don't know a THING about statistics. His class is a complete joke.

awful class, has no lesson plan, comes late to class...shows up 10-30 min late everyday. do your homework, and do it right! easy to cheat..everyone does, bring your phone or lap top. spends all of class talking about the droid. avoid taking this class, he is disorganized. dont EVER ask a question...he will make you go to the board. get a tutor

he is the sweetest old man but truly the worst teacher. he is obviously smart but he cannot teach to save his life, he makes the simplest problems and concepts so confusing and convoluted. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HIS CLASSES UNLESS YOU HAVE TO!!!

Awful. Worst math professor i've ever had. unclear. confusing. monotonous. wastes so much time having students who are obviously confused come up to the board and struggle thru problems. Obviously he is smart but that doesnt automatically mean you can teach. Doesnt take attendance. i often skip and work with a tutor. learn more that way.

I took the class thinking it would help me further understand Statistics, I was wrong. He is a nice guy, but he cannot teach, I did not learn a thing by showing up to class, very difficult to understand. I would not recommend this teacher.

Such a smart man, and he's so kind and accommodating. However, he's difficult to understand when he's working a problem, and rarely does anyone know what's going on during class. Most material learned is done by teaching yourself.

You can pass the class by going to class 2 days, the midterm and the final. This guy is really smart but it wont rub off on you, he talks about building rockets half the time in class and solves simple equations with the most complex solutions. Cool guy otherwise.

Very kind person, but Dr. O'Brien has very weak teaching skills and is sometimes vague with assigments and such. The class is relatively easy but you really don't get nearly as much as you should out of it.
