Comment:

Dr. Hung is an amazing lecturer and keeps your attention for the entire class. There are 4 tests and a final and you can drop any one of the 5 tests. The class is not that hard, but if you dont go to class or pay attention while in class, its easy to get behind. You get a sheet of notes for every test! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Comment:

Dr. Hung is a national treasure. His class is structured with 5 tests (including the final) and 1 project. He lets you drop your lowest test so if you do well on the first 4 you can get out of the final. He doesn't collect homework/have quizzes or anything so lectures are not mandatory in that sense but they are very helpful.

Comment:

Great teacher. Interesting material. Favorite class this past spring. There's 5 tests (incld the final) and he drops your lowest score. There's a project which is 10% of your grade, but if you start on it early, you'll be fine. The teacher is a very forgiving grader. This class isn't hard, but you still have to try. You get a cheat sheet for tests.

Sit in the front row and answer his questions!! Be prepared. Preparation is key! Also, outside of class, Beware of Him. Otherwise, his class is "not bad" at best, his class is "slightly amusing", at worst "beware like the plague that is death"

Comment:

Dr. Hung is one of my favorite teachers in the department. His tests are fair and if you like your grade going into the final you can decide not to take it. No homework and attendance is not mandatory. Just go to class and take good notes and you'll be fine.

The easiest EE class at the end of the curriculum.Professor is very clear about how to work through problems and what is on the test.An easy professor to talk to,and likes to make real life analogies which are really fun. Not a lot of work,and final is optional.Attendance and hw are not mandatory. Great professor and great class.Would recommended

Great teacher. Brought real world applications for Control Systems into class and gave straightforward tests. In spring 2006 the final was optional (could only help you). If you do the homework problems and take all the quizzes you should do well.

Comment:

He was an excellent teacher. He knew his stuff very well and taught it in a way that was easy to understand. Kind of slacked off and quit really teaching at the end though. My class made about 15 points higher than the other circuits class, on average. Get him if you can.

The greatest teacher Ive ever seen, describes things in a very simple way that you are gonna understand no matter how dumb you are..knows the subject perfectly, his exams are easy, solves hw exercises before due date if you ask, has sense of humour, gives clues about the exams,definitely go for him
