My favorite professor and one of my favorite people at Auburn. He's hilarious (are we having fun yet? and lost as a ball in tall grass will be added to your vocabulary), understanding, and great to be around. He's pretty lax about giving constructive feedback, but if you participate in crit & put in a decent amount of effort, it's an easy A.

Greatest Professor in the Graphic Design program. Granted it is a easy A, ONLY if you try hard and show him that you deserve it..some people in my class received a B. I highly recommend. Take him if you can.

With most of the profs in this dep. being hard, Heck can be a breath of fresh air. He is easy going and great for upper level classes because he will give you some room to try out your ideas but will always be there to real you back in if needed. Highly recommended for students who need to "stretch out".

Prof Heck is really entertaining and fun. He can be a little unclear on project assignments sometimes, but overall I've really enjoyed him this semester. Use type as texture as much as you can. He loves it. He's also really understanding about due dates, and if you have a good argument he'll push project days back for you.

dang. what a waste of tuition. Nice guy "compassionate" etc. but i actually wanted a teacher. i didn't want to arrive to class, have Heck show up late and disinterested and dismiss us because he just didn't feel like teaching. Contrary to comments processes and photo actually should be interesting and should actually be helpful in the long run.
