The fact that he's retired is sad, but Nunnally was absolutely amazing, and by far one of the best English professors I've had throughout not just my college career, but my whole life. I wish he was my grandpa.

This teacher was amazing! Being an English major, the professor and I share some of the same views. I feel he was more of a father to the class than a professor. He has a great sense of educational humor, and his visual aids make the class that much more interesting. This man is my superhero and I would like to be just like him when I get older

Professor Nunnally is a funny old gentleman with impeccable style. He tells many interesting anecdotes about his childhood and his class is really easy, but attendance is mandatory as he takes attendance every day. Most of he taught were thing I learned in AP Lang but it was a good course nonetheless.

This professor is grandfather you wish you had! Very intelligent and humorous. He is the definition of a southern gentleman. The course is easy and interesting. Plus he always dresses so dapper in a suit with a fresh flower. Attendance is necessary.

Sweet guy, but I am amazed how many people fall for it. Most overrated professor at UAA. If your major is English you may see my point. I took masterpieces of WORLD literature. We read only white guys from the US, mainly the south. His definition of foreign is Isben. Class time is his stage time. He doesn't care if you learn or not. Pathetic course

If you have english as a second language then i recommend you not to take this class. This instructor is funny and nice, but is hard to understanding what he expect from you when you turn all your works. His class is not easy at. If you want a nice instructor then i recommend you to take it but for easiness and to pass his class i don't recommend

BEST PROFESSOR IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! Regardless of your major, you need to take this class. Dr. Nunnally is by far the funniest man I have ever met, and also the sharpest dressed! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr. Nunnally is truly the best prof. at UAA. He is extraordinarily polite, lectures are fascinating & funny & he is sincerely interested in helping his students succeed. Key to receiving a good grade is excellent attendance, punctuality and notes. Tests contain mainly lecture material and he TELLS students what will be on test. Five Stars!

Professor Nunnally is absolutely great! He makes literature VERY interesting!! Every poem he is sure to read them in the accent of the country they are from! His classes are a lot of fun! He is also very willing to help students with whatever they need. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone taking an English class!

Take Nunnally for every english class, you won't regret it. I'm a science major, and he made eng interesting for me. He's extremely helpful and never fails to hold your attention. Essays and tests aren't difficult if you read the material, but you will need to study before the midterm (not open book, lik most eng). Plus, he wears suits everyday.

Nunally is by far the best teacher I have ever had. I actually LEARN, not just do busywork. Attendance is not mandatory but it does make up about 50% of your grade, however he is so understanding when students have issues that come up. Take his class, you will not be disappointed! I recommend you sit upfront as he is somewhat a soft speaker. Love!

He is a great teacher, if you want a good, engaging class with lots of meaning and an excellent professor, Nunally is your man. He rocks the suit everyday and writes essays like a boss.
