Very nice lady. She gave us lots of reading and homework (often writing) for every class. Had us write papers instead of exams. Relatively easy grader and really seemed to want to help her students succeed. For a spanish lit class, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Used English when explaining complex topics. Overall, great prof. :D

Very nice, very helpful, very understanding. I thought this class was easier and had less homework than 112, but that may have had something to do with my professor of 112. The class flies by and is sometimes even enjoyable, which is great from someone who hates language classes. Yes, the language labs suck..oh well

Prof. Lynd is a very engaging professor, and likes everyone to participate in class discussions--so if speaking in Spanish isn't your forte, you might want to stay away. I really enjoyed her as a teacher and enjoyed the classroom conversations. I may not have learned as much Spanish, but I became very comfortable carrying on conversations in it.

Prof. Lynd assigned more homework than some other Spanish teachers. At first I thought she was too serious, but over the semester I warmed up to her. I like the way she had small-group class discussions so that we got enough oral practice.

Nice teacher who does a lot of work to keep up with grading and to form a course. Gives too many assignments and not enough time for large-group class discussions. Willing to help individually in any way she can. If you're not into feminist history, try a different prof. because she talks about it a lot, but it's interesting.

She's a great professor. Flexible when you need her to be, understanding of your needs and such and really approachable. Sometimes it gets a little dull, but then again I took 251 last year and feel like I know way too much about good ol' España already...great prof though.

Department in general needs to lessen workload. Tons of work and semingly pointless work for non-spanish majors. I recommend taking lower level spanish if that'll satisfy your majors credit unless you like spanish of course. Class is really fun though. Recommend develop friends and study groups to do certain assignements of the class.

Prof. Lynd is helpful and enjoys class discussions. If you really want to put your Spanish to use, she's the right professor to take a class from. The material is sort of hard, but if she knows you're trying, she's very helpful, and the material is easy with hard work.

Wonderful prof. She was funny, extremely helpful, got to know her students, and tried to make class interesting. I would highly recommend her. The only thing is that class and the assignments could get really repititous and boring, (language lab, etc.) but I don't think she really has a lot of control over that. Prof. Lynd was a lot of fun!

Nice teacher, I was afraid of Spanish but I've learned a lot. The class material kinda sucks, but that is not her fault.

Professora Lynd is a very sweet woman, and was very kind and understanding when my friends were killed in a car accident. She wants everyone to do their best, and meets with you individually to correct problems and such.
