Although she was a nice enough person, I couldn't stand her ways of teaching. She didn't actually tell us what to do, just posted things online and gave us a checklist. Then at the end of the semester, I asked her to check on some things for me, she never did, and I ended up failing the course. Like I said, nice enough, just not a good professor.

SOO disorganized. I was so taken aback that a professor who was preparing students for teaching had no handle on organization. She's very sweet and nice, and helpful if you ask...even if her replies to emails are days late. She tries her best, but never shows up to class on time! I liked having her as a professor, but self-organization is a must!

I had her fall 2009 when they just began splitting 203 into lecture & lab. i dont kno if it was bc of that but this class and her is unorganized. i agree that if you like structure do not take her! i have not been so frustrated in a class till 203 with her and dr. day! got an A tho

Dr. Hyndman is great, very fly by the seat of your pants though. If you need structure, take this class under someone else. She is all over the place. But I put off everything (except monitoring) until the last minute and worked for the last week to get everything caught up and still came out with an A.

I had her for 203. She is amazing and very helpful with TaskStream! It was an easy class, but the only thing is if you are very organized she may drive you crazy, because she's not.

She has a great, fun personality and you can tell teaching is a passion of hers...Cancelled classes a handful of times, but you never have classes on Fridays if your on a MWF schedule...It does get very confusing but at the end of the semester she offers "Help Sessions" and if you go to those she will help you one on one catch up...

really nice and fun lady, but horrible professor. she uses her own website instead of blackboard, which is hard to navigate, and i never have any idea what's going on in class because she flies through everything. there are also a lot of portfolio assignments that i would never use when applying for a job, just really unprofessional-looking stuff

June is really sweet- but if you need structure try to take someone else. The class isn't hard but it's easy to get confused & have no idea what to do because she flies through instructions. She makes up additional assignments for E-Portfolio that other teachers don't require.. & most of them are pointless, especially if youre a Secondary Ed major.

Soo easy and she's such an awesome person! She'll help you with real life matters and knows what to do if you have a problem with anything. She's a good teacher and it helps that she's an adviser too b/c she can answer any question.

Mrs. Hyndman is probably the best orientation teacher for education majors! She gets you excited about going into teaching & it is super easy! She doesnt waste time on the stupid Focus Book or the assignments in them! There are no quizzes & basically no assignments, except for the final project! I would definitely recommend her for EDO 100!

I agree she was upbeat and friendly in class. I felt she was very unorganized. Grades were never updated, and the final was very harsh. You won't use the Book or Essential 55 in class at all! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! we do actually use the core content cards tho..

Very nice and helpful. She will even till you its a easy class. But its not about the grade its for you to become a better student and person. She is very up lifting and a wonderful person. I recomend her for anyone who is wanting a good teacher not just a grade you can get the anywhere at eastern but good teachers are hard to find. Good luck!
