Karen is simply amazing. Whether in comp, dance history, ballet, showings, musical rehearsal, etc. etc. she always gives clear and helpful feedback and brings out the best in you. She made me a better writer, critic, choreographer, and performer. She has given so much to this department and I am so proud of how far it has come!

Karen Dearborn is the most amazing woman in the world. Be prepared to learn a great deal and for her to push you, but it's out of sheer love and care. This woman is crazy and I love her! It's amazing that she's completely deaf but she can still "hear" the music in order to create a combination. The imagery she uses for dance is fantastic, it makes it so much easier. All Muhlenberg dancers HAVE to take a course with her at some point!!
