I had to take this class as a supporting class for my major. I thought I was doing ok...I went & spoke to her about my grade & she assured me that I should could a B or even an A...I worked hard...& came out with a C!! MY only C in college....needless to say....she is hard...AVOID HER!!!

Ugh, I HATED THIS CLASS!!! She seems like a nice enough lady, but she was just SO boring, and she loved to beat a dead horse. She explained the material well, but the class was really dull. Also, I was surprised that she only taught Applied Behavior Analysis, as it was a behavior management course, not strictly ABA.

I have never had such a bad teacher in my life. Everything she says is so confusing. And when you ask her a question she either gives you a round about way of answering it or she tells you to look at the book. she is not helpful at all. I have not gained anything from her class. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!!

I think that Dr. J can be intimidating but I think if you put the effort into this class you will get a lot out of it. I know a lot of people don't like her but I am glad that I took this class with her. I think taking her class helped me understand and learn a lot. You just got to put in the effort with this class and you should be ok.

I feel sorry for Dr.J reading the other comments. I made an A in her class and all I did was pay attention to lectures. She hosts a chatroom the night before the test people. She IS a little different personality wise and her grading system is weird but I generally liked her class. Don't avoid her class, just show up and pay attention. It's fine.

I suggest you take 590 instead of this class. I think she means well, but don't ask a question, because she will complete your question and give you the answer that she wants. She does not grade fairly, it might be wrong on one paper and right on another!!!!! Also, she is never on time, but the one time you are late, you will get a "0" on a quiz.

She is a very nice person outside of class. She trys to be helpful. Her test are hard, and so is the big ABA project that you have to do. But just talk to her a lot outside of class she will do what she can to help you out. Go to class everyday, because you never know when she will give a quiz (and thos points add up)

Unfortunlately, this was the only professor teaching this class. She apeared very helpful, reviewed every stage of my ABA project and made lots of positive comments told me every thing was okay. In the end, she failed me (the only D I have ever made in my life). By the way took the course under a diferent professor-made an A

She was late for class everyday and her multiple choice tests had all of the above in every question. She was more concerned about punctuation than teaching about SED. We never knew what we were going to do in class and we were so behind at the end of the semester.

All I have to say is holy shxx! This lady should not be involved in a field that includes having to socialize with anyone. Impossible tests, impossible quizes, ABA project(need I say more). There is no way to avoid her. I am currently in her class and 6 people are currently taking this class for the second time. Does not answer any questions.

I hate this class, she has made me want to change my major. But I am going to be the winner in the end and she can kiss my A??. She is to picky about what you should write although you are not to memorize. Tests suck. Class sucks. Very Unclear on what she is talking about, jumps around alot confuses us, we have no clue what she is discussing.
