She's one of the coolest teachers I ever had. She is also really laid back as well. The work she gave was pretty straight forward and easy. Definitely the best professor I ever had. I wish she was teaching English 1A next semester. No cap.

Dr. Hern is the best teacher you can have English. At first I didn't really liked it, but now I wish she could be my English teacher for 1A. I highly recommend her. Her teaching is the best and relates a lot with Psychology so I would recommend you take her class and Psychology 1 at the same time!!! She is the best of the best!!!

Dr. Hern is a really good teacher I would highly recommend her to other students, she makes learning fun and is very understanding and always willing to help. She is very nice and explains things well, to pass her class just show up everyday and on time and you might not have to take the final =)I wish she would teach ENG 1A next semester =/

overall a good teacher, but she bases the class off of NEWS, which was really whack. if i knew it was going to be based off of news which i think has nothing to do with english. i would have never taken the class, i don't recommend her AT ALL. but she does teach well. unless you like the news, u shoudn't take her class

Wonderful teacher! I took springboard with her, and she has made it absolutely interesting. She was the first teacher who actually really taught me how to critically think and write. She is also very down to earth so asking for help will not be a problem. Although this class will force you to think, its not just some stroll in the park.
