He was arrogant and unhelpful. His credentials need to be reviewed and he needs to be monitored by his department leader. If you take his course, watch him closely. He makes a lot of errors on instruction.

The professor gave a zero for an assignment I was unable to turn in due to the Liberty website being completely down. In addition, when questioned about my grades, gives, "That's policy." without explaining what policy is, or why. Not willing to make any exceptions for emergencies - gave two other students a zero as well for genuine emergencies.

I had him for online and he isvery arrogant. He will send very demeaning and unacceptable e-mails to students when you question any of your grades. He does not want to see you succeed. When you question grading he becomes defensive. Grading is not consistent and is unfair.I would not take him!

Comes across as very arrogant in nature. Will send very demeaning e-mails to students on a daily basis. Quick to criticize, but not willing to accept criticism. May or may not respond to your emails. Feedback is useless. Grading is not consistent.

Feedback comments on assignments were of no use. There was no detailed explanation as to how to improve. After 27 hours in the MA program and obtaining grades of between 93 and 98 on DB and all writing assignments, I feel fortunate to complete this course with a A minus. I felt the guidance, feedback and communication was substandard.

Dr.Lawson taught the lecture portion of my Business Communications class. He's got a great sense of humor and the way he delivers the lectures to you is very friendly and accessible. He says "you know" alot, but he's a very practical teacher. Make sure you do the readings, the quizzes come out of the chapters, otherwise, not too difficult Great guy
