He is the most terrible and awful prof I have ever had, I don't even know why he can still keep his position. This is a mandatory class, I have no choice but to take it, I HATED IT SO MUCH! It was such a waste of my time to work on the assignment and exam, or even go to class, because afterall he will just gave you random marks and make you fail.

Doesn't use the textbook, what a waste of money. He is very asian-accented which makes it nearly impossible to clearly interpret the lectures. The notes are very good. Needs to come off using Shigley's book.

Hit or miss. For some courses he nails you with a brutal final exam and for others it's a gimme. The ones that are gimmes are marked very hard. The ones that are suicidal are marked fairly easy. He just likes to mess with your head. Oh, and if your method is different than the books/his, be prepared to battle it out with him...ESL styles.

Very good teacher. Helpful. I found him easy. All the exams were straight from the examples and problems solved in class with no tricks. You have to attend his class to follow what's going on.

Dr. Liu is a very FAIR teacher, for the summer transition students taking mechanics, he makes the tests very simple compared to the other engi courses. I mean he puts exact problems from the homework assignments on the TEST!! How easy can it get?

Kefu doesn't know how to write notes on the board. Very unclear, the notes never make sense. He basically copies the textbook, but skips from here to there, so it's confusing. His assignments, midterms are the same every year, so students who copy do well and those who try honestly do poorly.
