Prof Alba is a sweetheart. But it's time for her to retire. She forgets what she is teaching, forgets where her book is and forgets what is assigned. She is actually very well versed in Spanish knowledge. She speaks the language impeccably but often gets off the track causing the class to be behind other classes when it comes to material.

In all honesty, she has potential, but students take classes to learn and she expects us to know every little bit of content that we are being taught. She is quite hard to understand, and her handwriting is pretty bad. If someone makes her mad she goes from 0 to 100 really quick.

In the beginning of the semester, I could barely understand her because of her accent. However, I've become accustomed to it now. She expects the best out of her students so she grades hard. She is very helpful and offers a lot of opportunities to ask for help. Strongly recommend her for others

A decent teacher. She knows Spanish well because she is a native speaker. She is a tough teacher though. Good but Tough. The test are rough but she is the best Spanish teacher I've had yet. One down side is that sometimes she can get a little ticked off sometimes if you don't know the material.

she talks very softly. if you arent already able to speak spanish, do not take her class. she also has a very strong accent with combined with her soft voice makes hearing very difficult

She does not speak English very well, which is okay for upper level classes but not for 201. Doesn't seem to be able to teach the material well. I've had to rely on looking at everything in the book. Very nice though and helps out as much as she can.
