Comment:

Mr. Shannon is an excellent teacher. He loves what he does and wants all of his students to succeed. He will do anything it takes to have his students do well. He grades fast and will answer emails right away. He is an awesome teacher and I really enjoyed his class. Take his class! He is simply the best.

Comment:

Mr. Shannon is the best of the best. One of the best teachers at CPCC. He truly cares about each and everyone one of his students, and as long as you show effort, he will go the extra mile to make sure you are successful in his class. Take his class.. you won't regret it!

I've had Mr. Shannon before and he really is a great individual and instructor. I think he was a little off this semester as our grades were a bit late and he seemed to repeat himself a lot (like recapping a lot) each class. His tests can be tough but he is fair on grading written work. The Trial Notebook was REALLY helpful for real world work.

Comment:

Mr. Shannon really knows his stuff although he can be a bit goofy (in a good way). His tests are a bit tough, but he'll give you what you need to know to study for them. It is a writing class so you will write, but it is the research that takes A LOT of time. Be prepared! That being said he is a fair, if not generous, grader.

Mr. Shannon is a wonderful teacher. However, his taste in music is terrible. He should be glad he worked in radio, because with his face, he would have never made it on television. He has great stories to tell in class; however, he repeats them too much. His obsession with cocaine and barbershop quartettes is disturbing. Clearly from E. Kentucky.

Very professional teacher. Always have time for students. I have taken him for 4 classes and enjoyed every class with him. Just come to class on time and take good notes, you will learn a lot and while your doing it! I highly recommend new Paralegal students to take Mr. Shannon's Ethics LEX 280 class to get their feet wet with the program.

Shannon is the MAN for legal research and writing classes! He is old school, likes legal books over Westlaw and LexisNexis. I am glad I took legal research under him as I learned how to do research using books first. He is also straightforward, if you do the work you will make an A. No tricks, just old fashioned hard work.

Good Teacher,Tests are well written. Be on time, and make sure you are there, he goes over things in the class that are not in the book sometimes, and it is on the tests.
