he makes the examples very relatable, it's easy to remember the material because he is constantly reminding you and he teaches to understand the topic not memorize it. there is still need to study outside of class but most of the test is based on the notes. he teaches at a good pace and usually let us out a bit early.

I had professor Burd for psychology 170 he was awesome! he was always willing to help if needed he wanted his students to do well. as long as you studied all your notes from class his tests were easy A's I would recommend him to anyone that has to take psychology!

He's an amazing professor. He allows for a lot of in class discussion and we went off on a lot of tangents, but they were usually directly related to what the lecture was about. It's really easy to see that Professor Burd genuinely enjoys his job and really wants to help his students succeed.

Great professor, doesn't give homework. I never opened my textbook, but you have to take notes when he lectures. Attend class and read your notes and you'll pass. I got an A and didn't exert much effort. He's funny too, very approachable and always making sure you understand the topic.

He was awesome one of the best teachers I had. I would recommend him and he has these hilarious stories and makes it interesting. I looked forward to his class. he's understanding in he knows that some people work full time and are busy! he let us go early we didn't have any homework besides reading barely did and passed with a B. Very clear

Hands down best professor I have ever had. Greatly knows everything that he is teaching, can literally look at a topic and speak about it for hours. Wonderful examples to help you understand the material, and great notes. No study guides were provided for tests, but tests were fairly easy if you studied. Hilarious, too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLASS!

Mr. Burd is an amazing teacher! I just finished his general psych class and will be taking his child development class next semester. Attendance is VERY important as all his tests are based off his notes rather than the book. Burd is a very funny, friendly teacher who will keep your interest and wont move on unless everyone's on the same page.

Amazing teacher w great examples. Not a hard class if you are a serious student and actually study your notes! if you call referring to the class as a group of children condescending then you are too sensitive. He uses the class as a elementary class for examples, not in a mean way whatsoever! He's fantastic and knows his stuff. Recommend highly!

Comment:

One of the greatest teachers at Rock Valley. He is super nice and tells stories to help you understand. If you study your notes you will do well. He gives you extra credit if you don't miss any classes and he lets you come in early on test days. My class is supposed to go until 8:45 at night but he always lets us out early. GREAT TEACHER!
