This was first time taking a class with Vogt & I would definitely take another course with her. Vogt is extremely knowledgable on the subjects she teaches & is good at providing real-life examples to make sense of the material. The term paper is a tough, but she's a fair grader & fully informs you on what she expects. Learned a lot from her!

She's a nice lady but this class should not have been as difficult as she made it. Unorganized, boring lectures and she went off on a lot of tangents. Two big papers that she expects A LOT of work on. Doable if you study and put in the work but she's a hard grader and expects a lot out of her students.

Difficult, but fair. She expects the best of her students, but does her best to offer as many resources as possible to allow for success. 3 tests, expects strong knowledge and application of material. Very clear in her delivery of material. Overall excellent professor.

I took this class online and ended up having a ton of issues with D2L (stopped working for a week). She was soo helpful and understanding. She really wanted me to do well in her class. I learned a lot and I definitely recommend her. Great teacher.

She is a great professor. Yes she gives us homework and what not. Discussion boards etc. Overall test are kinda hard, but if you study and take good notes you will be fine. The big term paper sucks but i wrote one in one day and got an A. Fair grader. Great professor i absolutely love her!

Dr. Vogt gives only three exams, assigns busy work and gives a huge term paper, but her classes are interesting enough and she really knows her stuff. She is an enjoyable teacher that listens to reason if a student has a problem. Those exams are tough though, lemme tell ya...

Very easly to understand. Understand expectations and easy to ace the class if you study the notes. Term paper expected but a fair grader and the tests are great indicators of what you learned. Humorous too. Great personal resource.

Great prof to have as an advisor to an internship. Very knowledgable about the CJ fields. Can be your greatest supporter in the Soc dept. Does expect quite alot from students though.
