Best Professor I've had in the business program! I didn't think I was going to like Finance that much going in, but Dr. Guin is so nice and interesting in his lectures. I liked learning some of the history behind things like Wall Street and I still use his explanations for problems in my advanced finance classes today.

Incredibly difficult class. He's a smart guy, but I think that translates into him expecting a LOT from his students. Curves his grade in the end which is the only saving grace for your grade.

Steer Clear. Take Lacewell. We have homework on tested material that is due a class period after the test. We do a lot of accounting problems that no other class does. Unlike accounting he doesn't go over the big accounting problems in class. Test are multiple choice were every answer is right, except one is the most right.
