Thought the class was gonna be amazing! 30+ years in the graphics field? I'll be able to learn about everything in the business, Just like I needed! I was wrong, this class was the worst, there is literally no hope left in me to finish my degree anymore. She can't teach and of she explains something it's still unclear so I hated myself in the end

Knows a lot. Gives detailed assignments you just have to READ criteria. Answers all questions & gives great advice. Expects attendance and hard work. Fair grader and honest in critiques. If you really want to learn she'll teach you.

Shes an amazing artist and knows her stuff! The class isnt easy though! Lots of work and as a beginner I found myself falling behind very easily. I dropped the class but will be back to try again after I take some other courses.

Can't type up a simple assignment sheet, they are always confusing and riddled with typos. She gives no actual information on how to efficiently execute a project. Assigns huge projects that take up ALL your time. This teacher makes you sell your soul to her and gives nothing back. I've learned more from a few hours on YT than I ever have w/ her.

She's awesome and sarcastic. A sort of gentle Robert Downey Jr. Keep track of time and ask for help she will assist.

I've had Mrs. Dally for many classes and she's a wonderful professor. You will receive a lot of projects but if you're wanting to go into graphics as a career it's super helpful when it comes to putting together your portfolio. If you have questions ASK she will help in any way she can. Her finals are hard so STUDY!

AMAZING! The class was probably my hardest, but also my favorite. I learned so much! Ms. Dally may seem tough, but she is a wonderful person. She gives plenty of help and is always ready to explain something you don't understand. Be ready to put in a lot of lab hours, though. And don't skip class unless you are dying, because it moves very quickly.

Helpful if you have questions. Not always clear. Instruction sheets for assignments can be confusing. Won't walk you through Illustrator, you're expected to read quick start guide on your own. Helps to have some basic knowledge of program. If you choose this professor, attend, pay attention and you'll have fundo fine.

Although she does know her stuff and is a talented illustrator, she's very rude and laughs when she gives you assignments that are going to be nearly impossible to complete on time. She expects you to know what you're doing, and practically insults you if you don't (which is why i'm in the class...). But I dropped her for many reasons.

Do not take her classes unless you are completely obsessed with and devoted to graphics! Projects are VERY demanding and tedious and the work sheets have too much information which is confusing. She likes to passive aggressively insult the class too. However, she is helpful if you ask questions and does know her stuff.

Very knowledgeable when it comes to graphic design, but doesn't really teach anything. Comp Illustration II is made up of her assigning projects and never addressing the students. If a student has a question, she's very helpful, but the course itself doesn't seem to involve any further knowledge on how to use the illustrator software.

If you work, or have a responsibilities outside of this class, do not take this class. I am an art major. I have never made below an A in an art class before. She knows her stuff, but she will not work with you if you do not devote most of your life outside of class to working on her tedious projects. First D in my college career.

Ms. Dally is an amazing professor. Grades you on your participation & skill level. Is a pro at what she does & has the ability to make you one as well if you show up to class & pay attention to every word she says. Final exam was rough, but projects are creative & super challenging. If you put in the time so will she. Great experience.

She's a great teacher. She's hard on you if you have any talent. Grades more on your capability instead of quality. For example; a student new to the software who is struggling will not be held to the same standards as someone who knows what they are doing. KNOWS A LOT! WILL HELP YOU!! Busy lady being the program coordinator. Tests are HARD.

She was fine up until the final. I am a designer(not just a major, I am actually a graphic designer in dallas) and I got an F on the exam. Tried to get it double checked and didn't get back to me until I went above her head and talked to an admin. One of her questions on the final was "What software are we using, apple or Adobe?" Tries to fail you.

Super cool and laid back. Don't have to be a super talented artist. She pays attention to what your level is and bases her grades on that and if she knows you're really trying. Class is more about technical execution. No book just really expensive materials. Try to be in class everyday she has surprise assignments but only for people who show up.

She's super cool with tons of wit. Expects you to figure out the little deals of a project/assignment on your own. Usually has one assignment per week - when you get it done, you turn it in, and come back. Critique's are fun with her, not afraid to laugh. Knows your effort, and grades based on that. You don't care, she won't care. Great Professor!!
