Comment:
Though she wasn't the most engaging lecturer her insights on Shakespeare were deep and existential. It is a lot of reading, a play a week, and the textbook is the size of a dictionary! Wait til you get the syllabus and then simply borrow the individual plays needed. Exams are MC+written. A is doable, not difficult.

I had no interest in Shakespeare, now I love it. You will read a play a week in this class which is pretty heavy by week 12 or so. Her passion for the subject is infectious and her insightful lectures (while boring at times) take the edge off of studying Shakespeare

I have never had a teacher in college who acted so much like we were all in Junoir High. She's a weird one, that is for sure. If you want an A do not take her

I didn't like her at first and her class seemed very hard, but she lightened up as the semester went on and ended up liking her very much. She does care and will take the time to help you out when she can, yes the peer reviews are pointless, but she doesn't really demand anyone to do them. I learned alot and my writting improved after taking her.

Professor Rosenberg is one of the best;class might seem intimidating at first, but she's really very nice and encouraging. Work might seem a bit tedious, but if you understand the material and assignments, the class is not too difficult. Lots of group discussions.

Overview: A tediously long chart on each text due each Monday of the week, she reads her lecture notes straight from the page, she asks about minor characters on her midterm and finals, only gives 10% for participation when all we do is sit in groups because she has nothing to say after rading off of her paper,oh so much crap to say and ran out of ro

When you transfer her two essays and silly peer reviews will not have helped you in any way shape or form. At the university level the Professors and T.A.'s (if you get one) won't give you this mushy, let's hold hands and get to know eachother nonsense. Stick with Prof. Oventile.

The woman got me interested in English again - and now I'm an English major. Don't mistake me, it's still just a community college level class, but I found an improvement in my essays after time in her class. A tutor is also always available to the class.

I like the way she divides class time into a lecture and a group discussion in order to cover A LOT of material in one semester. Her discussion charts are time-consuming but they help you to become a more focused reader and writer. Her classroom is a stimulating, democratic place.

Rosenburg needs help. so do you if you think she is a good teacher. Only makes you write two essays. Wait until you transfer and have realize she did you no favors. I suspect she is lazy and cares little for students. Truly a waste.

One of the Worst English Professors alive. Yeah, you read alot, but that's it. She offers nothing in the way of Literary theory, or historical significance. The Peer reviews are the worst. Do you trust a fellow community college student to critique you
