Comment:

Ghandhi, ironic to her name, is not peaceful at all. I understand she tries to make her lectures fun and interesting for the students to experience, but when it goes on and on and on and on..... it becomes boring, and bland. She uses unnecessary shorthand speech for grading and work such as "AHA" and "ICA" which literally means HW or Test. Useless.

Comment:

She exhumes passion in a room full of sleep-deprived, possibly hungover college students; I may have been that student once or twice but I always enjoyed her class. Its a college course my friends, put the work in and you'll get good results. No accent, friendly, & straight up. If you feel the Bern you'll love her class :D

Professor Ghandhi had some great lecturers and seemed very genuinely fascinated by history. Only problem is grading. She'll ask a very broad question and dock points for not answering it in a specific way. Always add additional information even if the question doesn't ask for it. Be prepared to fight for you grade. Other then that, she was cool.

Louise Ghandi is a great professor. She is pasionate about history and wants to help those who want to take the time to help themselves. She is a very tough grader, however her style has helped me grow as a student.

Nice professor, brutal at grading. She is a nice woman and I believe she means the best. But when it's time for grading, all kindness goes out the window. You MUST attend class because tests are on what she discusses. No need for textbook. If you take her class be prepared to lose your 4.0 GPA like I did...

Horrible professor. I regret taking this course with her. I have always had a love for history, and she made it suck for me. She is confusing, unclear, vague, and not helpful at all. Only 2 people got an A in her class. I did all the work, studied, and showed up daily for a worthless grade. Do NOT take this class with her. EVER.

Take any class she teaches! I loved her teaching methods. She lectures in the form of a story making everything really easy to understand. She is also really clear in her main points. I fell in love with her class and it was by far my favorite this semester!

do not take her. simply put. i got high B's/low A's in all but one test/quiz, and low B's in all the papers and i managed to receive a C from her. i participated in class, as well. if you are thinking of taking her, rethink your decision, as it is one i regret.

Realized early on Ms. Ghandhi's class was going to be a challenge...Advice for others- Make sure you take AMPLE notes, pay close attention to the lectures, READ your text for additional info (this will help for exams), and don't miss class sessions! Appreciated the challenge, STUDIED hard, got an "A", LOVED her class!!!

I was excited to take this class, but soon after realized i should have with a different professor. The system of pointing out the significance of moments and people in history is great, but the way she grades is inconsistent with what she teaches. She did give a few students an A and didn't have them take the final, I guess it's luck of the draw.

I am surprised she doesn't have good ratings. I HATE history but she made me interested and I effortlessly passed with a high B. She's really sweet and gives a lot of interesting perspectives about America since she has lived in several countries. I RECOMMEND HER

She is the first professor that I've not cared for in a long time! She asks for your opinions and then decides if what you think coincides with her views on the subject. Participation, effort, & interest mean nothing to her. Keep your opinions to yourself or your grade might be affected. Ridiculous, unclear, unfair. She wants you to think like her

Prof was very disappointing to me as a human being.Grades appeared to be based on groups. Certain students were told their final grades even before taking the final.while others were given an A without even having to take the final.Compare your grades with all different students in your class.I saw a tend in her grading in my class.Good Luck

The most interesting History class that I have ever taken. She makes you think about why things happen, and the effects, rather than just dates and names. Her class isn't too hard if you take good notes. My only issue was with her first test, which she didnt explain what she wanted clearly. Definitely a good class though.

couldn't understand what her objective was. Answered essay questions based on her lectures but still got bad grade(I've never gotten a bad grade for any essays in my entire academic career!)Didn't even need to buy the book. Grade depending on group project so it didn't matter how hard I worked as an individual. Dropped the class with my first "W"

hard prof. most of students dropped her class. she grades hardly on the quizzes and essays. do not offer a lot of extra credit. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS, unless you really interested in history and able to write a 1 1/2 hour of boring lecture.
