Comment:

He tends to ramble a lot about information no one understands and that is irrelevant to the class. He's pretty fair, but no extra credit or help with your grade. Participation is a good chunk of your grade so you really should pay attention in class.

Comment:

Pretty easy as long as you take some notes and cram to memorize them before the exam. You really have to know your stuff for the exam but it's not that bad. Brenner is passionate about consumer behavior and tries to make it interesting. Worst part is sitting there staring at him for 2+ hours a day, no other electronics are allowed. Not a bad class.

Very intelligent professor but a lot of topics were not taught well. Read the books he assigns and participate in class. Group project isn't bad. Final was very hard.

The class is a bit boring, and not very engaging. Try hard to come up with questions & discussion to make it better. Lyle is a smart guy, but sometimes a bit on the dry side as he reads through his slides. Exams are tricky! Study the guides well, and review the material several times..know how to explain the concepts! Not an "easy" class, but OK.

WORST CLASS EVER - the most boring class i have ever taken, takes forever to cover the simplest topics! exams are every difficult and offers very little help with regards to study guide - basically study everything! and the final is cumulative, plus he doesn't curve up ever!

SUPER boring in class. Spends FOREVER repeating the same thing. LITERALLY takes an hour to do 4-5 simple slides. Uses real books instead of textbooks. I like this. Easier to read. Tests are not easy and there's no 3rd party notes available. One group project, but plenty of time and it's simple. Business majors must fight through it,but others avoid

AVOID. He's boring and takes forever to lecture on simple topics. He makes exams really wordy and tries to trick you. If you're not an attendance person, def. avoid. Class info. is pretty useless. I regret taking this god forsaken class with Brenner.

Prof Brenner is a genius. He picks the best textbooks because they are not your typical textbook. He picked books which were fun and easy reading, but also interesting for Marketing majors. Tests are easy if you attend class and study before tests. I would say he was one of my favorite business profs at UF.

Very smart guy...lectures feel slow at times...tests aren't impossible but make sure you study hard for them. I guess people think it should be an easy A, but it's not, you have to work for it.

One of the worst teachers ever. He makes it very difficult for students to succeed in his class.The book is useless- exams are based on his notes only. He is not clear in his lectures, excludes important material from lecture notes, exams are hard and mostly based on essay type questions. Final is cumulative. Avoid taking his class!!!!
