Miss D. was very fair without no favorites. Funny, but a fast talker, so you had to keep up. Don't miss a class. Uses a Docket to keep pace. In her office a lot. Just graduated from CSUB and used her class info a lot!

took the hybrid class loved it for a 1st x user. Very helpful willing to help if she sees your trying.the homework assignments where simple if u read the guide. But the tests where difficult. Not sure y. I started to slack last min or I would of gotten a better grade cuz I missed a couple forums!! A++ teacher!!!!

To me, this class was the most challenging class i had this semester. I thought I was going to get a D, but I got an A. The way she ways her assignments really helps and she gives extra credit for turning in ur assignments early! Shes very helpful and truly wants her students to do well. It is a lot of work, but its worth it

I'm currently taking her class on-line.Overall great teacher. Very organized in her Forums and assignments. I wouldn't say the class is difficult, however she gives you an assignment each week and you're given a week to complete and submit the assignment. Definitely not a class to take if you're not organized. Tough on her grading, but fair.

Miss D is the best. I took her for Profiling & Forensics. You learn a lot in her class. There's a lot of work, but she helps you through all of it. You can get a good grade, but you have to do the work. She was my 1st online class & I got an A in both of them. Taking her again next semester.

I was so afraid of online I almost dropped, but she made me wait for another week jsut to be sure. I am glad I did because i panicked over the practice quiz and forum, but now I see that is the best place to make mistakes when they don't count against you. I loved being asked my opinions on things last forum gave us a chance to evaluate the class.

Mz D is the only professor who called me back when I left a voice mail. She is fast on the e-mail for the on-line part of the class. You can tell she really cares about her students her messages are very personal when you write to her not just blowing you off. My brother said she gets you ready for a job and CSUB. Not rude at all, just very direct.

Very organized with lots of instructions for the Forums and the assignments. Ms D. gave models for the criticl thinking assignmetn and showed us how to make an opening statment in class suring the face to face weeks. Not a class for lazy minds, in fact my kind really got a work out, Iam ready for her now in the next class.

Forgte the excuses in her class. She made a list for the syll. very funny, but means it. Miss D. gave me a C. It was a gift cuz I just didn't keep up with all the work like I forgot 3 Forums. So, while she is no-nonsense, I wouldn't say she's rude. Just a typical New Yorker. :-) Listen to the pods and read the files every week. Online is not cake.

I will admit, the work is tough, but only because she is strict on details and clarity. When I first started I did bad on the tests, but she told me to just do my work and id be fine, I ended up with a B in the class. She is super sweet and very kind, and very inspirational, great teacher all in all!

She is rude even if your not! So why someone says that is ridiculous! I love her knowledge and classes but her test is OVERWHELMINGLY hard! Some say it is easy but most say her test are too hard! I have had her three times. online was hardest due to she wouldn't clearly answer questions!

One of the best Criminology teachers on campus. Definitely take her classes if you major in Crim, well, that wont be a problem because most of the classes she teaches are mandatory towards it. DONT BE LATE OR MISS A DAY! She's not afraid to speak out to rude people. Enjoy her classes, she's energetic!

Took on-line/hybrid. Very interesting way to learn it was my first time and I thought I wouldn't be able to do the computer. But I got it after a couple of weeks. U have to be organized & to do the week by week forums and reading b/c deadlines come and go and she doesn't take late work ever!! I do miss her funny rants, so coming to class was fun.

Well, this isn't a class to take if you are not interested in criminal justice. She knows everything about this field of work. She is highly educated, and her lectures are very important and i highly recommend taking good notes. it isn't a very hard class if you pay attention, attend every class and take it seriously. you will learn a lot from her!

My 3rd class with Mrs. D. Maybe it's just me, but she gets funnier each semester. "Everything reminds me of something else" one of her fave sayings. The monologues, kinda like a comedy show, just happen, outta nowhere. Don't drift or you'll miss the punch line. Best one was her "giving it up to God" riff. Great class to learn everything, anything.
