Sra. Revak is a great professor!! She does understand that spanish is not your main language and takes that into account when teaching the class. You use the textbook everyday and have homework everyday....but it takes 20 minutes max. She truly wants you to learn spanish and cares about her students. The test aren't bad either. Take her if you can.

I had Monica revak my freshman year for spanish 101 and 102 and she is such a good teacher. I use her as a job reference also. Her class is very easy and she makes sure that you always get the right answers on the homework, and goes over all the assignments before turning them in. If the class complains about anything, she will change that. Easy A!

She does not explain things very well at all! She encourages you to ask questions, but when you do she makes you look like an idiot for not understanding. Whenever you try to ask her a question she doesn't understand what you are asking. The final is ridiculous and a waste of money. It is an easy class if you have at least 2-3 years of experience.

I took 4 yrs of span. in high school and I was able to jump into 102 and be fine. Senora is really sweet and very helpful. She slows down and moves test dates if the class says they need more time. Tests are easy and she gives study guides. A few projects. Overall fun and easy class. Homework every day, but only 20 min worth. Attendance mandatory.

I love profe! she is so nice and funny. sometimes you are put on the spot but so is everyone else in the class and she helps you if you don't understand something. She is the nicest lady ever. If you wanted to take a spanish 101 class definitly tak her..she gets to know everyones names and stuff to. VERY nice and funny lady.

I think she is a very good teacher!..You obviously have to attend class..it's the only way to learn spanish!!!...so if you don't like spanish don't take the class. She is really easy, and gives test reviews before every single test...and the reviews follow the tests exactly. I would recommend her for spanish :)

Now I took this class coming in with 4 years of spanish & it was still a tad bit difficult for me. She moves VERY fast and if you miss class more than 3 times you fail. If you go and do the hw you will most likely get a B. Hard to get an A unless you are one of her favorites. Treats you a lot liek a grade schol teacher would.

Very good teacher. She grades on total points earned- homework points are worth the same as test points so if you bomb a test, do all the homework and you will be fine. She loves to do pointless activities, but make use of your time as her tests are somewhat difficult. overall, good choice

This was not a fun class. I dreaded going to it every day. I don't learn anything through pointless group activities, which is all we did. She is not helpful when explaining and does not post grades so you do not know what is going on. I understood everything, but only because I already knew it; we didn't learn anything new. Frustrating class.

This professor is very nice, but she isn't the best professor to take. Though she clearly believes in giving students important language skills, she fails. Her tests are much harder than what you learn in class, and you are never quite sure what is going on. Avoid if possible.

I love this class! She goes a little fast but it's not to bad. She's really funny, I'm never bored. But make sure YOU GO TO CLASS! Attendance is very important. I highly recommend this professor.

Though she keeps class interesting, this was an awful class. The material she teaches (poorly) is much easier than the material you are tested on. Expect C's and D's on tests even if you study and pay attention. I recommend not taking her if you can avoid it.

WORST PROF EVER! you can't understand a word she is saying...spanish OR english. speaks way too fast! we went through chapters SUPER fast...we did 4 chapters in two weeks..the HARD chapters! impossible teacher, hard tests. good freakin luck.

Horrible teacher! So goes way too fast. Has no control over the class and it is a huge waste of time. i had 3 years of Spanish in high school and stayed with a Spanish speaking family for two weeks and I have no idea what she is talking about! DON'T TAKE HER!
