Best stats prof so far! Just go to class and do practice probs in book and you will get a B. I hate stats and stats hates me... this class wasn't so bad afterall though. I do not recommend Shuxia Sun!!! He's the best and much easier!!!

Very good Teacher. Writes down everything he says because he understands that he does not have the American accent. Gives challenging assignments to make you read wide.And understands that Statistic/Maths is a difficult subject to teach. Overall, very helpful and excellent Teacher.

I dislike maths/statistics, but he made it all very clear. His class can be kind of boring since no one asks any questions but overall he's clear. Accent wasn't that bad and he writes down all important things on the projector. Tests were really challenging if you didn't do the labs correctly. Class is an easy A/B, depending on how much you attend.

A great teacher. Accent is hard to understand at first but writes down almost everything as he says it on the projector. Quiz every week but tells you the material to know and you can have notecards for formulas. Quizzes and tests are pretty easy. He is willing to help but sometimes cannot understand what you are saying. Nice guy and good teacher.

I didn't have any problem in STT 264, but I had to drop this class almost immediately because of this prof. Impossible to understand, I couldn't read his handwriting, and didn't follow the book even remotely. I would avoid this prof at all costs! Classes can be difficult enough without having to struggle to communicate with the prof!

I hated his accent. It took me awhile to realize we were writing the same things over and over. He repeats everything a lot. No need to study or have a book. I didnt open it once. If you sit in the back of the class you can get away with using your book on tests also. You also get to use notecards on quizzes and tests.

Dr. Ratnaparkhi is a great professor. Don't worry about his accent, he writes EVERYTHING down on the projector, which can actually get a little annoying. He is very clear. Attend class and take notes. Tests and quizzes are simple if you study and do the homework. The only bad thing about the class is the lab---long, detailed reports required.

easiest teacher ive ever had. kinda hard to understand what hes saying but writes down EVERYTHING on the board. can use a notecard for all quizzes and tests. if you have a ? on a test just ask him and he will pretty much just give you the answer. if you cant get an A in his class you might as well just drop out now

Lectures are soooo boring. Whatever comes out of his mouth is what he writes. You can use notes on the tests and quizzes, so thats cool. Oh, if you have Mr. Atem for lab, I FEEL FOR YOU. he was terrible!!!! Avoid him at all costs!! Other than that, class is easy, no homework either!!
