This was my first online class I have taken, but it was the easiest class I've taken at SCSU. There are 5 assignments for the class, no tests. The assignments are about 10 questions each, but require long in depth answers to get a good grade. As long as you read the chapters and answer thoroughly, you should get an A.

This online class was very easy. All you have to do is four worksheets of sorts. The worksheets are 14ish questions long. It does take a long time to finish because the questions are complex but, this is literally the only thing you have to do for the class. NO QUIZZES OR EXAMS!! And you definitely need the book.

I learned more with this professor than I do with most. I enjoy his lecture style and the subject. The grading was hard. You did learn what to expect and what the grading standard was after the first test. I understand that the grade I will receive is a reflection of the effort I put into the class. I would take another class from this professor.

loved this teacher, you can tell he really likes what hes doing, even though he says he doesn't. I thought he was funny, but people might find him abrasive and egotistical. He never requires a book and doesn't have a final, hes very informal about the subjects, but the tests are SO HARD its ridiculous, almost impossible to study for.

Great teacher! If you work your tail off you will be lucky to get a "B". Class isn't mandatory but if you want to pass you better show up EVER DAY!! Great personality, but grades hard and test out of 100 with 5-3 point questions 5-5 point questions 3-10 point questions and 2-15 point. Questions are either 100% right or 100% wrong.

Ornithology. Very interesting class and he is very knowledgeable about birds. No homework. But take home readings, read them (10 total pop quiz?s on the readings). Attendance isn?t required but you should go, it is easier when it comes to test time! Lab isn?t required but it is fun and he is so laid back and funny! A couple tests, and 2 lab tests.

Awesome teacher! Don't expect to walk in and get a good grade and not do any work. In order to learn, work must be done. You have to truly love biology in order to appreciate his classes, but I guarantee that if you go to class, take good notes, study, and keep your complaining to a minimum you'll walk out with a good grade! Gotta love birds too!

You can take the best notes in the world and memorize everything he says and you can still do horrible on the tests. If you do bad on the first test, he tells you should drop the course...yet he makes the first test harder than the rest to weed out the "dumb" people. Doesn't care about students, good luck trying to talk to him.

Doesnt care about his students. Thinks everyone has an IQ of a 12 year old. His way or no way. Plan on memorizing everything he says WORD FOR WORD. Ask for help?....ha ha yeah ok what is that. Hope your almost a professional biologist when you take this course.

Very nice guy. Definitely knows his stuff. Makes the class interesting and makes me want to become a better bird observer. Field trips are always interesting, especially when he saw that 'Montana Hawk'.
