Dr. Marin is one of my favorites. She is passionate about Sociology, a bit quirky, cares about her students and wants everyone to get an A. The tests were pretty easy and she gives you study guides so you do not really have to use the textbook. The final was also take home. I would definitely take her again!

Her lectures are kind of scattered, but she is a very nice lady. She responds to emails quickly and is willing to help. Study guides before each test. If you fill out the study guide and memorize your answers, the tests are easy- 4 questions, short answer for all of them. 3 group projects and 3 reflection essays. Didn't learn a ton, but an easy A.

Quite a funny gal. She is very flexible with due dates and often gets off topic in class. If you are someone who wants a mellow class, this is for you. Only used the textbook right before the test to fill out the study guide. Lots of group projects but overall a pretty easy going class.

Dr. Marin is super sweet and easygoing and is obviously passionate about sociology. In my class, she was very willing to push back due dates if we wanted her to, and I very rarely had homework. She assigned three group projects that included (easy and short) essays, and no final.

Her courses are designed to provide food for thought and for you to engaging in further critical thinking and analysis on the material. There is more to her classes than what exists at face value, don't be afraid to explore. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Marin is one of my favorite professors here at GU! She is a one funny lady and makes you laugh every class. I don't think she is aware. Her exams are not difficult. I recommend taking a class from her. The issues she brings up are worthy and you learn a lot throughout the semester. my perspectives changed on everything

This is one of the most worthless classes I have had to take at Gonzaga. She doesn't seem confident that she knows the material and when a student asks a question she kinda nods her head and then carries on. I don't know how she has taught for so long at GU without being checked but I think she needs a little help.
