Comment:

I took Dr. English online, but from my experience she was very helpful and responded to all of my emails quickly. Everything she required for the course was nothing unexpected. She did not assign too little or too much. She was very fair. She even went out of her way to give me my extra point on a question that I misunderstood. Very kind professor.

Comment:

Entire grade consists of 19 exams (one for each chapter) taken online. Material comes straight out of the textbook. No lecture, and I didn't find the supplemental notes particularly helpful. Professor is helpful and responsive to specific questions, but did not otherwise have any communication with her throughout the semester.

There were a few questions on the online tests that were about info not in the text book. I simply emailed her about it and she gave me the credit. Super sweet!

Comment:

Prof. English is a Super Wonderful Professor. I truly enjoyed her class and All of her stories that she used to give us examples of different terms and topics she spoke about during lectures. She is Very down to earth and thorough. If you're paying attention and taking good notes this class is a breeze, especially when it comes to the exams.

Prof. English is an accessible, helpful online professor, but her online Developmental Psychology course is time-consuming. The quizzes/tests are not open book. Questions are very specific, so you have to read everything page of every chapter. Double check your answers because sometimes the right ones are marked wrong, but she will give you credit.

There is a lot homework in this class b/c you have to read each chapter and then take the test online. I'm not a big fan of online classes but this one wasn't so bad. Another thing is that some of the questions on the tests was on material not covered in the textbook. I always emailed her and told her any problems and she gave me the credit

If she could even be considered a professor. Didn't hear from her, I think she even got her outlines from the book, so she didn't teach really. Her quizzes were easy but then some questions had either no right answers or 2 right answers, & some she chose the definitely wrong answer. Adds 79 bonus pts for "errors" & you're just left there confused.

So i am currently taking her class online. Basically, you read the chapters in the textbook and take the quiz on it. There are 25 questions that are worth 4 pts each and you only get 25 minutes to finish. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE! you're better off taking it on campus

I took Dr. English online course. Her exams are difficult because most of the questions have either no "right"answer or they have more than one that are right answers. When emailing her to ask questions she was very sweet and helpful. I got a B; I think that if i took her on campus i would have done much better. She makes the online exams harder!

I took developmental online, and it was honestly easy. Just use your "resources" online. two exams every 4 days for a month. A total of 19 exams. The textbookoutline will not help, but if you know how to "use your resources" its VERY easy.

she is not there to help you she brags about herself a lot she is lazy as far as explaining things her clarity level is poor very confusing even if u ask her she still doesn't make sense my average was a 69.5 wouldn't work with me to get a C the first class i ever failed in college, her exams r like 100 questions i studied my butt off and no good!

This professor spends classes saying anecdotes the entire time. Crammed last 3 exams in last 4-5 days of class. Skills we learn in class are not on the test. She is very nice but i do not like her teaching style as a professor.

Here is how every day will go: Prof shows up late, takes forever to start lecturing, rambles on with anecdotes about her life while giving you definitions that don't match the text. Then, realizing how behind you are cram a bunch of definitions in before the test which is multiple choice on all the definitions. Would rather self teach. Ripoff.

Worst class by far. Take in the classroom and not with this professor. I emailed in the beginning of the semester and I got no response back. Unacceptable. Videos are awful and she provides next to nothing to help you study. At least in class with another professor you will have PowerPoint presentations to help you with.

Took this online & it was tough due to the questions coming from the textbook authors. However, she was always responsive & if the answer was questionable I got the points back. Got an A in the end but I made sure to ask a question about every question I thought was unclear.

Dr. English is a truly great professor. Her lectures were so interesting and fun, I will truly miss her class. As for tests, just read the textbook and study the notes she gives and you will succeed in her class. I wish I could take her again.

The best teacher I ever Had! I love her! I was looking forward to her classes: they are informative,interactive and entertaining! Her tests are multiple choice and based on her lectures. She is amazing teacher and beautiful woman.

Very responsive teacher. Some questions on the test contradict what the book says. Very frustrating, but she allows for it in the end. Overall, great teacher, understanding. 30 mins for 25 questions. No papers, no final! Got an A, but it wasn't easy. Would take her again if I had the need for another psych course.

I took this teachers online Psy 109 and did not like it at all only 30mins to do 25 questions and half of it was not even lining up with the chpts that were assigned. Also this teacher doesn't even show you what answers you got wrong on the test after grading them. I had to withdraw and re-register for another Psy 109 teacher,IN THE CLASSROOM!

Took Developmental Psych online. It was much harder than I thought it would be. Professor English was thoughtful and responsive (I probably asked more questions than I should have since it was an on line class) in all correspondence. Would like to take her again live.
