Comment:

This is the second time that I've had Mark and honestly I like this class better. Very enjoyable material and a part of me loves the coding. Mark cares and is a funny guy if you get to know him. Lots of fun stuff that we have done so far. Assignments and tests can be hard, but allows you to work together (individual assignments though).

Comment:

Dr. Sena, for the most part, explains the use of Excel extremely well. The VBA lectures were hard to follow but it could just be because VBA is no longer highly regarded. Tests are done in class, which are open book and note. His jokes also make the lectures seem less monotonous. He is a bit awkward in office hours though.

Comment:

Dr. Sena is a solid choice. Lectures and demonstrating the functions of the assignments are what he primarily does. Some work outside of class, especially with Salesforce, but it is all meaningful. Funny guy who loves jokes + is able to help outside of class. Solid choice.

Dr. Sena demonstrates the various business software tasks during his lectures, and the homework assignments are identical to the lecture/ practice. Only three tests for the semester, but they are essentially a compilation of four homework assignments in one file. He moves quickly, but will repeat actions and clarify if asked to. Very "real" guy.

He is an extremely difficult grader and when you ask him why you get points taken off, he cannot give you a clear answer. His instructions are poor. His assignments are useless. He doesn't teach, and when he does lecture it's extremely boring and he reads from out of the book. He doesn't care about his students and his grading makes no sense.

The class was all online, which I really enjoyed. I am semi-interested in information systems so sometimes the class was boring, sometimes it was interesting. The assignments were very straightforward as was the grading system. I would definitely recommend the class and the professor.

It's all online, we didnt have to drive to campus all semester. You basically read Harward case studies and then write about them. It's an interesting course but not what I expected. I think you have to take this course for the MBA program, so take it with Mark Sena...it is a great class.

Very, very boring. He was supposed to teach us IT-related crap, but the computeres didn't have the necessary software. Instead, he rambled on for the whole class about off-topic junk. First professor I've ever known to get off-topic every class period and then test his students on those off-topics.

Subject matter is dry and boring, but, the teacher is not. The class is required so most don't enjoy it. Dr. Sena is a good guy and helped students who were willing to put forth at least minimal effort.
