Comment:

It is always hard to understand what he is saying and the assignments in his class do not correlate with the assignments he gives in other classes. He is a really nice person and wants to help but is not good at actually teaching. Take a different prof if you can!

Dr. Zhao is a really nice man. He knows what he's doing when it comes to computer science. Teaching, however, is not his strongest suit. He's hard to understand, partially because his English isn't great, but also because he talks extremely quietly. I did well in his class, but mostly because I had other students to help me.

On the surface, he is a timid, kind, and accomplished man, but his lectures are insufferably dull and difficult to follow. On his tests, you will find that he is sadistic, and you will often feel betrayed. The man who you speak to and the man who grades you are not the same person. Good luck figuring out your grade.

Dr. Zhao cannot communicate, which is disheartening since he is such a nice man. He wants to help his students learn, but unfortunately isn't able to do so. You'll have to teach yourself much of the material and constantly ask for clarification of his expectations (they aren't often clear).

It is hard to get use to his English skills at first, but after awhile it is ok. He is very helpful and his test consisted of essay like questions, but really easy, goes by study guide topics. Picks good books to read compared to other SCI classes!!!!!

He's really nice and knows his stuff. His English isn't great, he doesn't talk loud enough, and he did a lot better one day in DB when for technical reasons he PowerPoint didn't work(he was sweatin up there for a few minutes, but then the lecture went well). He's always approachable and really likes to be social with students. Assignments are clear
