I absolutely loved Dr. Drake's class. She was so funny, and inspirational. I learned a lot from her, and it definitely was a good class to be stuck into my first semester at Mercer. LOVED this class. Though, I will say that if you are very conservative, choose something else.

By far my favorite professor of my first semester at Mercer. She was so helpful and made my transition so much easier. My papers were not up to par before her but I was able to progress thanks to her help.

Dr. Drake is by far my favorite professor at Mercer. If you ask for help, she will help you. She is very opinionated and not afraid to tell you what she thinks. She grades papers more on content that punctuation and grammar. As long as you do the reading (or at least look at the SparkNotes)and be involved in the discussion, you will do great!

If you do all of this her class will be a snap. She is a wonderful and opinionated person. I absolutely love her as a professor and would recommend her to anyone!!!

She's a very nice person, however she is not very fair. She played obvious favorites and was absent from class much of the year. Must do all the reading to even have a hope of passing. If you go to her she'll try to help but often you leave more confused.

Dr. Drake does not put up with any crap. Nor does she give any out. Discussions are always insightful and interesting so long as you do the work. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE WORK! This class is not difficult if you put effort into everything you turn in and demonstrate your willingness to improve! I love Dr. Drake!

Dr. Drake is a great professor! She cares about her students and is willing to be flexible on deadlines for the group as well as individuals. We got to develop our own final project for the class, which was a lot of fun! I've had several classes with Dr. Drake and lover her. Take her if you get a chance!

The class is different from what I expected, but she is very open and respectful of the students views, never trying to press her opinion on anyone- Basically, she is great, and you learn from this class things that affect your life, not just typical college info-(inhale the info, and then pour it back out over a test)
