Computer Literacy is a realllly easy class if you already know how to use a computer. She's a pretty friendly professor and I would recommend her to anyone that has to take this class! She is also good about responding back to emails which is a big plus!

This class is doable. The material to read online is extensive, but not always necessary. The online lecture material was much more helpful. I took this class online.

Great prof. As long as you do your work and study for the midterm, you'll succeed with an A. She always encourages everyone to ask questions. I left the course understanding programming much better, and she was extremely helpful.

She is very unfriendly not helpful. She makes it seem like she will answer any questions but if you ask her sigh and look lets you know she is waaaay smarter then you when it comes to computers! Don't ask questions! Keep your mouth shut...she doesn't like talkers and you will do fine!

Ms. Tarver is a great lecturer who provided me the tools to continue teaching myself beyond her course. Unfortunately, the class was very assignment-heavy, and she did not hand us graded material until the week before finals. Mistakes made at the beginning would not have been included in later assignments had she graded material in a timely manner.

Doesn't really know what she's doing, but tries to convey an appearance of intelligence. She attempts to make the subject matter clear to students, but doesn't do a good job of explaining it. If you can, take Walker for your class.

She tells you exactly how to do stuff, and how it works - one of the better professors on campus. It's not that hard to keep up in her class, I rarely had to spend more than 30 minutes in the lab on any assignment.

I like her. At first I too thought she was a monster, who shows no mercy, but after half the class dropped, she became nice, easy on grading, curved a lot,was pleased with the students. She is the nicest in computer dept, at least.

I had her a few semesters ago for computer literacy...and it was really easy. Her reviews were basically the exact same as the test. We didn't have to show for class a lot of the time. We tuned in papers on our own.
