So many quizzes but as long as you get 5 good quizzes you're fine. Midterm does require a little bit of studying. Final is a easier. Take him for sure

Comment:

Professor Ludwig is an awesome guy. He is truly a funny character and shares a lot of interesting stories relating to the class. The course, although great, does require a lot of effort in order to get an A. The textbook can be a bit tedious to read but the quizzes aren't too bad. Neither are the midterm and final. Show up to class and work hard.

Wonderful professor! I wouldn't say his class is an easy A because you do have to do work that is required of you which isn't bad, it's a decent amount. Amazing class, no complaints at all. It was a pleasure to be a part of this class. Ludwig is the man, wish he taught more classes! Would love to take him again.

Comment:

He is one most enthusiastic, nicest, and most helpful professors that I have ever met. His quizzes are based on one of the chapters in the assignment textbook. The midterm and the final are also easy if you read the book and did the quizzes. His lectures are directedly based off of the book, which can get boring at times.

Dr Ludwig was awesome, one midterm, one final and seven quizzes through out the semester, you can drop two grades. His class is so easy, read the textbook and you should do great. His exams are basically previous quiz questions and he gives two easy project assignments.

Comment:

One of the best professors in the health science department. He genuinely wants the students to do well and will do whatever he can to accommodate the needs of the students. You do need to study for his quizzes and read the textbook. HIs midterm and finals often recycle the questions from the quiz. Overall take a class with him. You'll love him

I really liked his class; he is a very nice and understanding person. I didn't need it but he seems to give students opportunities to make corrections on graded work which is really cool. I found the class to be interesting and I learned plenty. He can get off topic at times but I found those situations to be interesting as well. Take his class.

Comment:

The class was boring, lectures unhelpful- though he tries to make it interesting, I'll give him credit for that. Relies heavily on the book, quizzes every few classes. READ AND MEMORIZE FACTS FROM THE BOOK. I found the exams rather unfair, many of the true/false answers could have gone either way. My least favorite class of the semester.

Dr. Ludwig is a nice guy,the only problem is that sometimes he goes off on really awkward tangents,but the stuff you learn in his class is great. There's a quiz after every class, but if you read the book you'll do fine. I highly recommend taking this class. The information will make you paranoid ["do i have this?!"] but it's worth taking.

Chronic and Communicable disease is probably the best class i've taken. Before getting quizzed he gives you hints and then basically goes over the entire quiz before taking it. It's impossible to get a bad grade.
