Kaspari is hilarious. However, he makes his class almost impossible. His exam questions are only 12 questions long, leaving no room for error. And most of the questions consist of an a, b, and c answer choice, making you second guess yourself. Seriously, wait til the next semester and take Gaffin. I hear he's great.

Everyone says that Gaffin is the one to take, but I loved Kaspari! He's interesting and funny but still easy to understand. Grades are based almost entirely on tests, there are also in-class clicker quizzes that are really easy and a handful of writing assignments. Overall, a great prof/course!

He is a fun prof, very funny! Class is very hard, but you will learn a lot. He uses unconventional teaching methods and I personally loved it. Also, he will sing to you about syphilis. Take his class!

He's so much fun! Looks like a lumberjack because of his plaid shirts, and is hilarious with his lectures. He makes zoology fun, and I'm extremely happy that I got him as my professor. His tests aren't too bad if you study.

His tests were hard, do to the fact that we would have so much material to study but like 25 questions over all of them. He was funny at times which made class fun. His notes were not clear and it was tough to understand. Also the questions were so tricky, it could throw u off really easily. But overall, a nice guy.

One hell of a teacher. Thinks what he is saying is the last word in Ecology. Has a born aversion for non-Zoologists; specially Botanists. Has a tendency to clutter up what he is saying. He needs to come more towards the level of the student whom he is teaching, not entangle them with his super ecological jargon.

Great Presenter, knows his stuff, you will learn a lot but I agree with the other person that said the tests sometimes seem impossible. 25 questions over tons of material so word of advice USE ZAP even if you think you don't need it!
