His tests are very detailed with material he did not cover. Grades based almost entirely on tests and project. He was hard to meet with. The final was extremely difficult. During finals week, he kept sending us homework assignments that took away from our time to study and only one of the assignments had anything to do with final.

Dr. Temkin is a really nice guy, and is passionate about biology. Genetics with him is a solid choice if you would like to learn more about the subject and have a genuine interest. It's taught early in the morning, so make sure you've had your coffee first. Always willing to meet outside of class. Study hard for exams, they are most of your grade.

Awesome Professor. You learn many useful techniques in lab. Clarifies everything pretty well. If you are interested in molecular biology take a class with him!
