Professor Wagner is a great choice for Intro to Logic. The course grade consists of five exams that are all weighted equally. The textbook is definitely helpful to own, although I only used it before the exam. The tests are fairly easy. Attendance is not taken.

TAKE HIM! Hilarious and a bit awkward but is so knowledgable and is willing to help everyone do well. Easiest class I've taken at USD and learned a lot along the way.

The only things that are worth points are the five tests. The final isn't cumulative. You don't need to read the book to understand the subject, but it is helpful for the practice problems before a test. Super easy class, best logic teacher by far!

Professor Wagner is the BEST for Logic. Don't take any other teacher. He makes everything so clear and if you go to class, you'll never have to do any outside work except studying a little for tests. He's super straightforward with what you need to know for each exam and cancels class a lot. Not to mention he's the sweetest guy ever!!

Maybe the easiest class I've ever taken. Professor Wagner is an adorable nice old man and will answer any questions you have during class or office hours. He gives Fridays off relatively often for test review days. Participation and attendance don't matter- your whole grade is 5 noncumulative tests. Easy core requirement and great professor.

No homework for Wagner's class. I usually did the readings the day before the test and got As on all of the exams. The hardest test was open book so it wasn't too bad. However, your grade is only based a 4 tests and the final so you do not have any room to mess up. It is pretty easy to miss class and not get behind. Wagner was awesome and friendly!

Wagner is hilarious, yes he goes off tangents but I prefer those tangents because they offer some entertainment in the class. Overall if you take notes, ask questions, & study for his exams (study guides are available) you will pass the class. I took the level of easiness of this class for granted. The term paper is the only thing that takes time

Class is full lecture and if you can't stay focused I wouldn't recommend him. Doesn't make material interesting. First exams are multiple choice and are harder than expected bc his answers are really similar to each other and very specific. Essays are easier. Participation nor attendance matters, but class notes are everything to pass the class.

Is very nice, but not easy to listen to in lecture. Goes off on random tangents, the material is pretty dry as well. But, he makes the tests SO easy and does answer questions, as well as cancels class if a meeting isn't necessary. I took his honors class and it was an easy A with some studying before tests

Wagner is the man, I would take him again if I could. If you get the opportunity to take him, TAKE IT!! Class is not mandatory, just make sure you show up for the tests. If you go to the class before the test he outlines exactly what you need to know and the tests are so similar to the practice problems. Class is boring though

Wagner is a very nice guy and the tests are easy but his lectures are boring and difficult to follow. I felt like I learned far more from reading than I did from his lectures.

Wags is the man. He is one of hte nicest professors you will meet at USD. Attendance for class is not mandatory. His explanations on the board can be a bit confusing, especially if you lose focus for a sec. Office hours are helpful. Ended up getting an A- with barely any studying for tests. Great guy, take this class.

A GE class, so naturally it's boring. However, Wagner is smart and kind. Easy class which just consists of grades from tests and papers. There is no required homework, and attendance isn't mandatory, which is a plus for a class as easy as logic.

He likes to ramble and go off on random tangents. You can't really take good notes because of this but his classes are easy (papers and tests are graded easy). I liked him overall. And the attendance is not mandatory. I would take him again but just be for warned that he is like this and that the class will be very boring.

Take him for GE Logic! He tells you exactly what's on the exams a week before the exam. Class is often boring, but he tries really hard to help you understand Logic. He also cancels class if he thinks we don't need to meet, which is nice. :)

I took Philosophy of Love and it was SO easy, if you want to get your GE for Philosophy out of the way. He's awkward and kinda boring, but not hard.
