Very bad, this professor seriously needs to get fired. Gives much homework which you must turn in every class meeting and it only counts against you, never for you. Negative points are also possible.

His class is far from easy, but the way he explains it makes math very interesting. Open book and note tests, but they are still hard. He is a tough grader, but he tells you exactly what he wants. His office hours are really helpful as well as the SI sessions. He might seem mean, but he is a great teacher.

He's such a great teacher. He's really intimidating at first, but if you stick with him you'll see how great of a professor he is. I have always had a frustrating time with math, but he makes you understand every piece of it. I would definitely look for him as a teacher for my future math classes.

I thought open notes and open book would make the test easy but he grades you for every little mistake. On one of my test i had the same answer but I wrote it straight across instead of down like he likes it. Overall you can get an A just make sure you show up everyday to take notes and use them on the test. I wish someone would of told me that b4.

He's a good teacher I'd say. He is indeed a strict professor no doubt and a very tough grader even in very small details). But if you take the class everyday, write everything he writes on the board, and do as he says, getting a B is not hard, and you need to give it all if you want an A. Don't take his class if you aren't serious in studying.

It's annoying that you can't give 0s. I could spend hours trying to use psychology to explain his behaviors and behaviors. But I'll suffice to say that he needs to have his tenure revoked immediately. He is condescending, rude, he essentially helicopter parents every student, will take unnecessary time to witch hunt students who are doing anything

FIRST day of class he called the entire class unintelligent, made inappropriate religious jokes, and said we'd only be good for a job raking leaves. Does not promote a healthy learning environment. I highly suggest taking another professor if possible. Very tough grader; be prepared to recieve no credit for a correct solution.

Hardest teacher I've ever had. Doesn't matter if your test answers are correct if there not done his way which is super specific then you're wrong. Class average is a C. Doesn't take late homework even if you're out sick. Talks and writes super fast so in class you're not learning you're just copying. The tests are way harder than review.

He is a very good teacher . If you are a serious student and ready to let go of your cellphone in his class you will be good. To pass and do good in his class you must never miss a day. Do homework every class. Study the error analysis he hands out for review and the HW questions similar to Error analysis. Just solve the problems his way his way!

He doesn't respect his students. He is arrogant and he doesn't eat his words. Even if he is good at teaching(which is not), taking his class is not worth it. Besides his attitude, he talks to fast and doesn't care about the pace of others.

If you want to learn and be successful as a math student you need to enroll in Mr. G's class. There is no doubt that he is strict, but this will help you a lot in the next math class. His class was my first math class after 10 years of not studying math. In order to be successful in his class you need to do homework and understand class notes.

This teacher is one of the worst math teachers I have ever had. Format matters otherwise he will deduct points on exams. Exams are open note and book, but it didn't help me. He belittles his students and is extremely anal about cell phones. He will repeat every time he sees you check the time or sees you on your phone, "put cellphones away".

Let me be honest to you. If you can take a better professor, do it. He is a tough professor, and grades old school. Which means if things aren't done his way you are wrong. His tests are open book, but that's the only good thing. The exams are significantly harder than reviews. Be prepared to study. He offers very little help. Rushes lectures.

Exams are open book, that's the only good thing about his class. Gives homework twice a week with tons of questions, which is really too much. I had other classes so I hardly had time to focus on the homework. Take him if you have enough time on your hands, because there is a lot of practice needed to pass. Exam problems are harder than review.

Reviews before every test, and the tests are 95% similar to his review. Open book exams, no trick. He just requires half of every homework assignment for credits. Easy A even I am a Fine Art student. Great foundation. Nice professor. No pressure before tests at all. I wish I could put 0 for level of difficulty in this rate.

If you make mistakes like adding arrows on -x and -y axis you will lose 2+ points for that problem. If you don't solve the problem with the EXACT number of steps he requires you will lose all points for that problem. Open notes/book on tests won't help as most do not finish his tests towards the end of semester. He is VERY specific on work shown
