This prof is terrible. She didn't respond to any emails or interact with any of the students. She graded nothing throughout the semester and isn't clear with guidelines of any sort. Exams have nothing to do with classwork! PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR GPA DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR.

This class was a joke. For somebody who claims that they are the head of the Latin American program her teaching is atrocious. She would ramble about random topics. Her English isn't at a high level, her midterms, finals, and exams have nothing to do with what she covered so you have to hope and pray that there is a document online she posted.

Worst class I have ever taken. I am a Business Management major, so having this being the hardest class I've had thus far is ridiculous (mind you, I'm about a semester away from graduating). She did not interact with her students AT ALL. Have to teach yourself. DO NOT TAKE! I'm praying I pass this class because it'd be the only one holding me back.

I highly recommend student to NOT take this class with this professor. She is the worst!! Never thoroughly explained the topics she had us read online, and never gave homework or test. Nothing was ever mandatory in her class. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY MONEY AND TIME!!!

I beg everyone to never take her class. If you can, please save your money. Dr. Q. is not suitable as a professor. She gave too many assignments, never responded to emails & never came to class prepared. I paid $30 for online app she claimed mandatory. We never used it. She is maniacal & should never teach again. I took this course online and it is not as intereting as I expected. It's basically self taught. Read and post a comment on the discussion board. The professor does not interact at all except at the beginning of the semester. This course might be better if taken on campus. I do not recommend taking it online if you are a procrastinator like me.

HORRIBLE! I've taken her for two classes and she is the worst professor ever. And what's worse she's the chair of the department!!! She NEVER responds to emails, there are at least 6 books for the course, not including another 3-4 that she tells you about with each assignment. And reading assignments from Wikipedia??? Ridiculous!!!!

Horrible...took online course. Ridiculous amounts of reading. she would post assignments late..items at the library that were impossible to find and go to library to watch some documentaries...sent emails, she never responded... if you can avoid taking her please do!!! I don't even think she reads any of the discussions, she never comments on them!

I would probably have to say that Dr. Quintanales did a poor job teaching this course. Absolutley, no participation by her in the online discussion forum and a few general group e-mails or postings. Online class that required students to view some extremely rare movies on hold at the campus library. Mailed in a performance for a paycheck. Disgrace

dont take her.. she is horrible... always talks.... gets mad if you laugh. makes you read a bunch of bad literature. although she is nice if you pay attention, its so hard to cause the class is sooooo boring....... and the tests are ridiculous.....

This woman sucks. Don't ever take for an online class. She never sent out grades for the midterm, and the final was 120 questions - the same 20 questions repeated 6 times. I learned nothing. She is the poster child for argument against tenure.

she is the worst teacher at NJCU...she is never in class and when she is she makes you watch videos and she tells you that its on the test..she also gives like chapters of reading each week for the test...she thinks that all you have is her class..she does not teach anything..i will never take her again ever..bring a pillow to class..
