Comment:

Expects you to sacrifice your time, job, other classes, kids, and family for her. Berates you and your work in class. Be ready to buy extra materials throughout and have them go "missing" when you need them most or be told you got the wrong thing. With inconsistent grading and vague syllabus, you'll wonder how you did until the end. Glad it's over!

Comment:

Molly doesnt go easy on anyone. She expects a high level of work out of each student. She is a wonderful person, but a very strict teacher. My one complaint is the way she grades. It can be confusing. She has an a/b, b/c, c/d, d/f scale. More then once I thought i has a low b only to find out it was a c at the end of the semester.

Comment:

Molly is one of the best professors I've had. She inspired me to get into art and it's changed my life. She has a no tolerance type of teaching but I appreciate it. She's incredibly sweet and always ready to help, there's nothing bad I could say about her.

Molly works with you if you are willing to do the work. She doesn't accept tardiness, so don't miss a class or even show up late. She's very willing to work with students and it's obvious that she has a passion for teaching. Approach her classes wanting to be there and you'll do fine.

Don't expect this class to be easy. While not required, it is practically mandatory you come in outside of class to work on projects because otherwise they will not be completed to the standards and guidelines. Once I realized I needed to come in outside of class my projects improved and I really enjoyed the class even with all the extra time spent

Molly pays attention to who is really trying and who isn't - effort and attendance are everything to her. If you don't have a serious interest in her courses, you should stay away. That said - she's easily one of the better professors I've had.

WONDERFUL professor! She's very sweet and caring. Has a strict attendance policy and her assignments are a bit off the wall, but you'll learn from them. Be prepared to spend a LOT of extra money and time on this class. I spent an extra $150 on supplies (not including the textbook).
