Nancy is the best professor that I have ever had. First of all, she truly cares about every single one of her students, even down to a personal level. She tells a lot of stories about her experiences, but for the students' benefit. Her class is always interesting and fun, and she gives a lot of work, but it's not too bad. Nancy is the best professor I've ever come across. She may not be the typical "preach from a textbook" kind of teacher but her classes are enjoyable and fun. The assignments given are extremely easy and a good way to get the information across. Assignments are normally papers but the subjects are so easy. I wish every professor at NOVA was like her

Do not take. She is a very nice person but you will learn little to nothing about recreation. Im in the field and the class has proved to be worthless. Its all about what she wants to teach which is good for some people but I like to learn the facts and get actually get lessons I can use for my job

Nancy is amazing. For recreation students she could not be a better fit. For students taking her classes as an elective (management) she is just as fitting. She teaches with actual out of class experience and lecture. All of her classes are easy A's and fun. Take her if you need a fun, easy elective!

I dont know what your problems are - Nancy works harder than any other professor i've ever had to advocate for us students. She also works really hard to make sure the content is relevant, and that our courses transfer! She is the greatest teacher!
