This is not a hard class to pass but you will have to do all the work yourself. She is not helpful and she does not care if you are struggling. She clearly says from day one to not even try asking for extra credit. Tests are worth 56% of your grade.

Comment:

Great Professor for an online class. Highly recommended, she posts how to videos, gives practice exam just like the actual exam. Gives a realistic time frame, the only bad thing is that she uses pearson for hw and tends to be long. Though, take her!!

Comment:

Previous knowledge of Excel is required, but her tutorials are more than enough to help you if you find yourself stuck on a problem. Her quizzes cover material that will be on the test, and you won't find yourself questioning where stuff came from. Overall, an excellent professor, and a definite recommend.

If you know excel 110% then take the class. If you don't, you'll struggle. I knew the basics but not a lot. She makes video tutorials for quizzes and they SUCK! Her videos are just her clicking and not speaking about why she does it or where you can find the tools she's using. I wanted to pull my hairs out. Since it's online, NO office hours.

Don't buy the book, the rental online book is a better option, I hardly didn't use it because she has videos for references on the assignments, I used it to prepare more for the exams. Many quizzes and h.w and 2 exams (half your grade), 1 group project. Exam reviews is 90% how it looks like for the real one. For exams, practice makes perfect.

Comment:

Professor Wishart is challenging, but fair. If you show interest in the class and don't procrastinate, she'll take the time to help you. Two proctored exams count for more than half the entire grade. HW and her videos help a lot, and she offers extra credit. Don't rely solely on the study guides because the tests are more challenging than they are.

Class is not easy, you kind of have to teach yourself, the videos that she posted on YouTube and canvas are very helpful. she is a great professor, and will help you if you ask her for help. the book is not needed. 5 quizzes, 1 group project, 2 exams, 8 assignments on SAM CENGAGE.

2nd worst prof. Ive had in 4 years. Super rude, doesnt care about you or your grade. If you have a job or cant make it to class, dont take her b/c she doesnt post anything on Canvas except the submission link. Lectures are ridiculously boring&hard to understand. She teaches like everyone has been using Tableau since elementary. AVOID HER.

She is a very intelligent woman, very knowledgeable. But her class is very challenging, 2 quizzes worth 5 pts each, 2 group projects worth 15 pts each, 3 exams, she drops the lowest one, worth 30 pts each. The 1st exam was nothing like the study guide she provided. 2 exam was similar to the study guide.

Extremely Talented professor. A Huge asset to the MIS program. Pay attention to her detailed work and you will pass. Stay on top of your work. She gives ample amount of time to do everything.

This is an introductory excel class, yet this professor makes it quite complicated. She expects you to know how to do everything and doesn't take the time to help you out. Exams are nothing like the material covered in class. Be ready to teach yourself everything. Avoid at all costs, plenty of easy electives to enroll in at the university.

2 Exams are 60% of your grade and instructions are vague. It is an excel class but you have to be able to solve all the problems in your head. Also, if you have a Mac computer you won't be able to complete everything. The textbook for this class is not helpful for much you may find yourself searching the internet for help on certain topics.

Comment:

One two part project - pay for Online project and avoid headache of searching for data. Four tests but drops the lowest. If you're satisfied with 3 previous test scores don't take the last test. Practice online quizzes. View her videos if lost and practice tasks given and you will pass. Very respectful and amazing person. She is awesome!

Online Class: Quizzes, 2 proctored exams, 1 project. The quizzes really help with the exams. The project is a bit difficult and she takes a while to respond to emails. She has somewhat of an attitude but this is a class you can pass as long as you understand the quizzes. (which you can continue retaking until you get 100%)

Easy A, you need to know basic excel knowledge prior to taking this class. You'll learn lots, 3 exams (final is optional) 2 extra credits, 1 project 25% Sam assignments very easy and straight forward. Class is boring but if you attend no need to study after.

Prof teaches the material in a way that it is easy to understand. You learn a lot of useful, cool things on Excel. She grades fairly. Always available to help.
