I can't tell my problems with her in 350 words. The Incomplete Precision Handbook is all over the place, and her style of teaching is confusing at best. She's educated, but not good at explaining. She can also stumble through explanations and seem rude. She encourages you to ask questions, and has you do worksheets in class that help apply lessons.

Class was somewhat boring since it was a two hour lecture. She tried giving quizes this quarter and were difficult unless you paid attention for the full two hours. Tests are hard. Questions are tricky. I would take a different professor if i could do it over

Cambridge doesn't teach. I took this class with her during first session and got a C- and had to retake it second session because I needed a C. The only reason I even did this well was because I was tutored twice a week. Take it with Gillam, she teaches very well. I was able to apply more of what I learned taking it with her.

Tough course, but the key to a good grade is to know the material you're going to cover that day in class before going in. She doesn't really teach during classtime, just goes over things you ask about and provides practice over material. If you're going to ask a question-know your stuff.

I enjoyed her class... it was hard, since there is so much to know and to memorize, but she really wants her students to succeed. This is not a blow-off class at all; you have to go to class and you have to do the work or you will not get a good grade!

Hard subject matter, but she was able to give multiple examples and explain things thoroughly. You really do need to go to class everyday, otherwise, you are setting yourself up for failure. She has a good sense of humor, which helps when trying to find the adjective clause in a sentence.
